Had to move out of my beautiful home fast & the rentals in Lacombe were not anything that I'd want to live in with my daughter. We rented a brand new corner unit in the apartment complex & it has been great. We were about to bring our 2 dogs & have a could size 2 bedroom, 2 bath with walk in closets, & large beautiful deck. The in-suite laundry was a must for me. Big windows, modern look roller blinds & vehicle plug in outlet. We are surprised at how quiet the building is & how friendly the other residents are the odd time you see them. Love having a good sized elevator as well.
Rent is very reasonable & I definitely highly recommend checking them out. It felt like home the day we moved in.

I enjoyed the location in Lacombe of the townhouses and the place itself but have not had the best response time when it comes to needing anything done to the place. When it came to the move out inspection I left that place way cleaner than when I moved in. They are wanting to charge over $500 to paint the walls when all they did when we came in was spot paint and it looked like polka dots all over. After the previous tenants the yard was completely destroyed and I brought it back to life and was not recognized for it. Other previous tenants I have spoke to were in the same position as I when I came to their walk out. They just take the money from your damage deposit and do not put it back into the place. When it came to having things fixed, you would have to email and contact them constantly to get anything done from previous tenants. I will be going to the rental board as I have also been told that you will have to fight all of this as they won’t do anything. Previous people have taken black mountain to claims court. Best advice is to take photos when you move in.

I had no issues with this company or the property until move out. I moved out 30 days ago and am still waiting on my damage deposit return despite being promised a full return of my deposit and within 30 days. This is unacceptable. My damage deposit or rent was never late and now waiting return of my money.

As first time renters the process with Black Mountain was so easy! We love our little townhouse and couldn’t be happier with our decision to rent with a group, all of our small needs like a gate latch and small flooring repair was dealt with within a week!! 5 stars!!

I love the neighborhood where their townhomes are located in Penhold. I think the townhomes were built in a great location in the town. There was a rent increase without much notice but I decided to stay due to the pandemic and loving the neighborhood. Obviously, they are understaffed due to many switches in property management.
