My family rented three of the four cabins (Oriole, Nest, and Blue Pheasant) for a weekend in September. We all had an amazing experience. We loved being able to camp with our family and include our pets! We had primary contact with Alison, and what a wonderful host! Super accommodating, easy to contact, and very welcoming. I can’t say enough great things about these rentals. 1000% recommend.

Stayed in all 4 cabins at Thompson lake over the winter months.Allison was the most amazing host. The only problem we had was we couldn't live there full time. It was a slice of heaven on earth. It was affordable roomy comfy and the fishing during the winter months was incredible. Thank you Allison

Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing honeymoon at the Blue pheasant cottage. This will most definitely be our home away from home! Breathtaking cottage that has it ALL! Thank you for the honeymoon gift as well. Thank you for going over and above for our stay. Cant wait for a winter stay, can’t wait for summer stay! Doggies first vacation and they didn’t want to leave the warmth of the fire place. We were all so comfortable! Affordable and clean and had absolutely everything we needed! We don’t want to leave!! Hotels do not compare!
I understand why the cottages are booked solid. Cant wait to come back!!

The golf course across the road is absolutely beautiful as well. Thompson lake is a real gem.

Stayed in The Nest for one night after dining at Trigo. Incredibly clean and welcoming. All necessities - and then some - were provided and available for use. Great communication from the hosts Dayne and Alison. You can tell by all the tiny details that they take great pride in their properties. Will definitely book there again when we’re in the area.

My fiancé and I recently spent the weekend here in the Blue Pheasant Cottage, and we absolutely loved it!

First of all, the owners are so friendly, accommodating, and full of knowledge about the surrounding areas. We had never been to Thomson Lake before, but were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the people were, the beautiful scenery, and the mule deer visiting the cottage.

The cabin itself was fully equipped with anything you could need, including games and a cozy wood burning stove. We especially LOVED the opportunity to bring our two dogs with us, as this is not often an option!!! 🙂

These cabins are affordable and absolutely AWESOME!!! the host is amazing! They offer cabins for all different groups! And walking around the area it's just beautiful!
