We had already rented housing from this company in Edmonton, so we were incredibly happy when we found a free option to move here!

We love our new home and the staff's help is invaluable! We needed to change the taps in the bathroom, they were old and leaking and our problem was immediately solved. Thank you very much to Kevin Hurley for a wonderful job that he did very professionally.

I hope our life in this place will be pleasant and calm!

Boardwalk has always been very good to me. Their buildings are clean, the suites are spacious, and most of the time maintenance requests are completed quickly and professionally. I also think that the monthly rent amounts are fair which is not true of some other companies/landlords. As well, I have a disability which they have usually understood and accommodated. 5 out of 5 overall rating from me based on my current and past experience over the last 7 years.

Full of bed bugs, and they take advantage of disabled people. They charge increasingly more never giving long-running tenants a break. Meanwhile, there is crime. Drugs. Police raids. And other disturbances frequently. There has never once been a security guard around in my years of living here. Even though I've made multiple complaints about it. 1000 dollars a month for a 1 bedroom is not low income housing. That's what you'll be paying in just a couple short years. Welcome home to boardwalk.

Horrible place to live constant police presence, door slamming constantly at a unreasonable force, physical fights happen often, needles can be found around the property as well as other drug paraphernalia, you can smell hard drugs being smoked through your walls, there is constant foot traffic of less the desirable visitors. There is most certainly drug dealers that live here. This is not a place where you would want to bring your family. This is not a place you want to live unless you are a drug addict. If you like cleaning up condoms and other garbage left out front of your doors, listening to people arguing and constant knocking on doors and a general sense of not being safe this is the place for you.

Maintenence and cleaning people are very friendly, as are most people in the office. Aside from Tania. She's been rude, condescending, and unprofessional in every interaction I've had with her. Including my rent being raised without notice from the office. Today, when trying to get payment details, she instead got defensive because I mentioned I called 4 times yesterday, but nobody answered the phones or returned my calls. She wouldn't allow me to speak and, instead, spoke over me. When I asked her not to as I felt it was rude, she ended the call. I called back and was helped with zero issues by Lisa, who is so wonderful.

My husband and I moved here in June 2023 - we were new to the city and had no idea what to expect, rental wise. I had my fair share of unprofessional encounters whilst rental hunting, that is until I came across the GP Boardwalk team for my building. Lisa was quite personable and patient on the phone and to be frank, it was one of the main reasons I pursued the rental. The process was easy and convenient as I could communicate by email when I was working to avoid having to step away for calls.

The move in process went well, the cleanliness of the unit was immaculate. We drove 8 hours and began unpacking upon arrival and I had NO issues whatsoever with dust or grime - anywhere! To know I could walk in after a very long day and just get situated was a dream!

Since then, the rest of the team have equally been kind and responsive. Any maintenance issues have been dealt with in a timely manner and building announcements are always up to date as well.

Definitely recommend the building and its team!

For the price these units are fantastic, I've been here 3 years and have had mostly positive experiences. The downfalls would be the unsupervised children constantly trying to cause havoc and a creepy lawn guy, aside from that I love the unit, the girls in the office are super friendly, the maintenance guys are all fantastic, super friendly and are always there immediately when needed. The freedom they give they're tenants is super appreciated, you get to feel at home.
