I stopped by Boonie Shopping Center and it was an okay experience. It's not too crowded, which is a plus! They have a good mix of stores like Ardene (which had some great sales!), an African clothing store, Stitches, banks, Safeway, and more. Plus, prices are pretty affordable, making it a great spot for budget-friendly shopping. It's worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for some deals!

This is what happens to all the old malls of the late 60's and early 70's . All the big stores are long gone and it's got little or no people in it shopping. These old malls will be demolished and new commercial centres with commercial and residential units together keeping its residents in one place shopping and living without venturing far saving money by saving transportation costs now if they either worked from home or in the development that would be ideal making leaving home for work or anything else just a few steps away and and making a vehicle unnecessary saving money and reducing your carbon footprint by a “ TONNE "

The art walk and gallery space showcase unique creations, adding a creative, vibrant energy that’s rare in malls.

That said, the shopping options can feel limited compared to larger malls, and some parts of the center still feel a bit outdated. However, the connection to the Valley Line LRT has improved accessibility, and it’s a great place for a casual visit if you enjoy supporting local artists and small businesses.
