I regret to say that my experience at Brampton Tower has been extremely disappointing. The management, led by BGO, seems completely inattentive to resident concerns. Despite paying rent in full, there are no additional free services offered—not even access to the gym, which is frustrating.

The security supervisor is particularly rude and unprofessional, adding to the unpleasant atmosphere. Interactions with the office staff are equally disheartening, as they seem indifferent and unwilling to address any resident issues.

The building’s elevators have been out of service for over a month, making daily life highly inconvenient. Despite multiple complaints, nothing has been done to resolve the situation.

To make matters worse, the apartments are overpriced, especially considering the poor living conditions. I’ve even encountered cockroach infestations, which is completely unacceptable for the amount of rent being charged.

Overall, I would not recommend living here due to the lack of care, rude staff, and unsanitary conditions.

We have lived at Brampton Towers for many years and have been very happy. There are a lot of very nice people living here. Our apartment is quite spacious compared to others we have seen elsewhere. With the leaves in our dining table, we have very comfortably accommodated 15 guests. I don’t know of many apartments that have dining rooms as spacious as that. Any kind of repairs needed are dealt with very quickly, most within a few hours and the maintenance team is respectful, professional, polite and extremely helpful. The office team is warm and caring, and operate on a high level of professionalism. We love our balcony and look forward to Spring every year, when we can enjoy it until it snows, lol. On a few occasions we have seen a roach or two which was expertly and efficiently taken care of. We have spoken to other residents who have been here 20+ years, who have never had any issues. People need to be aware that this is common in most buildings no matter the location - rentals or even privately owned condos. There have been many renovations in the last two years: the laundry room was recently remodelled, with fresh paint, beautiful murals, new flooring and public washroom; the parking lot was resurfaced; and the indoor swimming pool was completely renovated and my son enjoys a dip regularly. Brampton Towers strives to ensure the safety of its residents, cleanliness and orderliness of the premises. They really do strive to meet those goals. Dealing with Malu Velasco (Property Manager) Rafal Milcer (Senior Property Manager) has always been a pleasure and they have been more than helpful in assisting us.

Unwelcome Guests: Cockroaches in My Apartment

I moved into my apartment on Feb 6, 2024 and in the beginning of March 2024. I had an unpleasant experience with cockroaches in my apartment that I feel compelled to share. While I've always maintained a clean living space, these persistent pests found their way into my home, turning my peaceful abode into a battleground.

The first sign of trouble came when I spotted a single cockroach scurrying across the kitchen floor. Initially, I hoped it was a one-time intrusion, but soon, more followed. These sightings quickly escalated from occasional encounters to frequent invasions, especially at night when the lights were off.

Cockroaches are notorious for thriving in dark, moist environments. Despite my efforts to keep the apartment clean and dry, they seemed to find every little nook and cranny to hide in. They were mostly found in the kitchen and bathroom, but occasionally I'd spot one in the living room or even the bedroom, which was particularly unsettling.

My primary concern with the cockroach infestation was the potential health risks. Cockroaches are known carriers of various bacteria and pathogens that can cause food poisoning, allergies, and other illnesses. This made me extremely cautious about food storage and preparation. I found myself constantly cleaning and disinfecting surfaces to minimize the risk of contamination.

I promptly contacted residential services who scheduled an appointment with pest control services to address the issue. The initial visit involved a thorough inspection and the application of insecticides in key areas. While this reduced the number of sightings temporarily, it did not completely eradicate the problem. Subsequent treatments were necessary, along with sealing up cracks and gaps where they might be entering.

Dealing with cockroaches in my apartment has been a distressing and challenging experience. It has disrupted my sense of comfort and safety in my own home. The initial pest control measures did not help, and the battle against these resilient pests is ongoing. I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others and emphasizes the importance of regular maintenance and prompt action at the first sign of infestation.

They are doing very well as a residential building with their services overall . They also have annual barbecue event which is pretty fun . The way their guys help with the services is really good . Special thanks to Ronnie for always being ready to help and resolve . He always addresses the issues with kindness and respect.. be it plumbing or broken appliance . . Thanks again

My experience at 430 McMurchy apartment has been extremely poor. During my stay, the cleanliness was far below acceptable standards, and I had to deal with a serious cockroach infestation. This made the environment not only unhygienic but also highly uncomfortable. Despite reporting the issue to management, little to no action was taken to address it. I cannot recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a safe and clean place to live.

BGO’s management has been particularly disappointing. Under the previous management by Oxford, things were much better. The staff treated residents with respect and knew how to manage the property effectively. Back then, all three elevators were functioning properly, but now only two—sometimes just one—are operational. We’re paying our hard-earned money to BGO, yet they seem to be neglecting our concerns.

In our apartment due to some problem, electricity was out in our bedrooms and we called the management , we told them to send someone to fix it as soon as possible and they were making excuses like as it’s Friday so you have to wait until Monday and you can live without power for the duration. How can one stay without electricity.After paying these much insurance they are not willing to provide basic services for the tenants.
Also, the elevators are so messy and one of them is not working since three days. The management before Oxford was so helpful and ready do solve any issues at instant. But since the management have changed they don’t care.
I request the BGO management to take such actions against this.

I've been in the Brampton towers for many years. This is a great community!!

My review is based off maintenance from ClikFIX and a particular person named Ronnie. He has always went above and beyond and comes to my unit with a smile. I've been here along time and have met different people who have come and go.

I've had quite a few experiences with Ronnie and he is definitely an amazing person who puts his effort and cares about my problem everytime.

I usually don't ever write reviews! But Ronnie! You deserve this! Thank you for the amazing support, always.
