A best place to live in a rental apartment. Very quiet neighborhood. Especially the property manager - a beautiful soul and a kind-hearted couple handles this property. Very much satisfied with their instant help and support. I would recommend living here.

This is not just a rental tower - this will become your home! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3.5 year stay here and would ABSOLUTELY highly recommend this condominium to anyone. Bright, airy apartments that come with amazing views and wonderful neighbors. Close to everything. Most definitely worth the money. We would stay longer if it wasnt for a work-related move. Joe is the best strata manager you will ever have hands down! 5 star!

My wife and I lived in Brentlawn Tower 1, from 2023 to 2024 for a little over one year. We were paying our rent 2,870 dollars per month for the first year, and it increased to about 2,950 dollars during the second year.

1) Issues with single pane glass doors:
a) apartment only had glass doors, no windows, so in winter it was hard to ventilate the apartment without it getting too cold indoors.

b) all glass doors are single pane, the building is between the Amazing Brentwood and Holdom Skytrain stations, so the Skytrain screeching is regularly and clearly heard from the apartment with doors closed. We could fall asleep only after 1:30 am when Skytrain stopped operating, and we'd wake up at 5:00 am when it restarted.

c) noise can be heard from both Lougheed highway and the Trans Canadian highway.

2) Issues with common area single washing machine:
a) there's no washing machines inside of the apartments, and they are not allowed. Each floor has 6 apartments, most of our neighbors were families with more than 3 members, and there's a single common laundry machine and a single drier per two floors, that is per 12 apartments / families. You can imagine how that worked.

b) during our last 3 months living there the laundry machine on our floor was broken, and remained broken until we moved out.

3) Breathing issues inside of the apartment:
a) both me and my wife experienced breathing issues inside of the master bedroom. The building manager, Mr de Jesus wasn't very helpful and showed lack of empathy in this matter. When I first asked for help, Mr de Jesus stated it was my problem and my health issue. I had no health or breathing issues at the time, and continue to have no health issues. It took a couple of months of suffering breathing issues, and pleading to look into the matter, before Mr. de Jesus' manager from Austeville Properties paid us a visit and we setup the date for mold and voc testing in the apartment. When the day came, I spoke to the tester and asked him whether he does this for a living, and he told me that he used to but he's the manager's friend and was more than happy to come. This did not instill a lot of confidence in me. The test results didn't show anything as expected.

b) exiting the master bedroom alleviated the breathing issues. For the last half a year living there, we've completely vacated the master bedroom, and moved into the living room to preserve our health. For nearly 3000 dollars per month, not being able to use nearly half of our living space, we decided to move out.

5) The building manager
Mr Joe de Jesus is really the only person we could ever really reach.

a) When I first called to inquire about apartments, Mr de Jesus informed me that there's only one apartment available in Brentlawn Towers, and that it was in the building closer to Lougheed Highway (Tower 2), so we went for a viewing, and I later called back Mr de Jesus to let him know we've decided not to take the apartment because it was too close to the road and Skytrain. Immediately Mr de Jesus told me there's one more just like it in the other building. I found this suspicious.

b) When we decided to take the apartment in the other Brentlawn Tower (1), we went to sign the contract, and as I was reading through it, Mr de Jesus seemed impatient commenting that he needs to leave soon. When I asked about putting our own dark curtains in the apartment (since it was facing East and South), Mr de Jesus lost his patience and told me: take it or leave it. I found this rude.

c) During our move in inspection I opened a drawer in the bathroom of the unit, and discovered a dead cockroach inside and showed it to Mr de Jesus. He shrugged it off as nothing.

d) Lack of empathy and visible irritation displayed by Mr de Jesus with us asking him to help us with breathing issues we experienced in our unit was nothing I have experienced before, and quite frankly a shock.

Once we moved out, Mr de Jesus asked me to leave them a good review on Google Reviews. I decided for honest instead.

I really enjoyed living at Brentlawn Towers. Great location and very well kept building. I always felt very safe in this building. The underground parking is spotless and well lit. Any concerns I had were quickly resolved. Joe and Konnie were a pleasure to deal with. What I loved most about my unit was the floor to ceiling windows, made for a very bright unit.

We have been living here as a family for the past 4 years. Wide apartment spaces, airy with good ventilation. Peaceful and friendly. Joe and Konnie are people with a good heart , very patient and accommodative. They have always been supportive and addressed any concerns that we had. We recall many good conversations with them!
The location is well accessible by walk, transit or drive. Would recommend anyone looking for a good rental space to live, work and play!

My parents have resided in the Brentwood towers for more than a decade and they absolutely adore it! The location is ideal, with close proximity to the skytrain, a family-friendly mall, a wonderful neighborhood, and a park just around the corner. The view from their unit is stunning. Each time I visit, I notice how impeccably clean and well-maintained the buildings are.

Joe and Connie are truly exceptional and remarkable managers. They are readily available to help resolve any issues and just a phone call away. Even outside of office hours, my parents have contacted Joe and Connie with questions or concerns, and they have promptly responded and resolved the matter. It's quite rare to find building managers nowadays who are as dedicated and responsive. Seeing them on-site, always smiling and assisting, is truly a pleasure.

Brentlawn Towers is a hidden gem - it is an older building compared to some of the new condos around Brentwood Town Centre, but the building and surroundings are meticulously maintained, the units are spacious and airy with lots of in-suite storage, and as noted by others, the views are just spectacular. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our lives there, and we owe a lot of this to our day-to-day interactions with the lovely community of people living there, and wonderful support from the building managers, Konnie and Joe, as well as Pat and Liz and Ken. My heart ached in the month before our moving date, especially looking around the kitchen that I loved, or out the wall of windows at our view of Brentwood lit up at night. Our families even commented that they were sad we were moving, because they thought we had really lucked out finding this place!

Living at Brentlawn towers was a blessing for my roommate and I. The building is clean and organized, laundry facilities are convenient, and both towers are really well managed by Joe and Konnie. They're both lovely people and truly want to make sure the tenants are properly serviced. In addition, our unit was extremely spacious with a large balcony and an amazing view! We'll miss our time at Brentlawn and recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-quality, spacious, and well-serviced place to live! Thank you, Joe & Konnie! We'll miss you!
