We recently purchased a home in Calgary, in a move from BC. Diane Planidin of EXP Realty was instrumental in us finding and purchasing our new home. Diane arranged virtual showings of houses for us over a period of several months, as well as showed us properties in person when we were in Calgary.
The journey to finding our new home was not easy, as the market was very competitive. Diane was very experienced, knowledgeable and thorough. She walked us through the bidding process in detail and provided advice on fair value of the properties that we offered on. We especially valued her advice on when to “walk away” from properties when a bidding war became evident.
Being from BC, and not having purchased a home for over 20 years, we were unfamiliar with many of the intricacies involved with purchasing a house, particularly in a new province and city. With Diane’s assistance we were able to find a place in a great location.
Diane guided us through every step of the purchase process, helping us with various inspections, including a home inspection and a professional review of condo/ strata rules. She also provided information to help us set up the utilities. She is still assisting us with arranging things like carpet cleaning after we have taken possession.
Diane is hard-working, professional, communicative and easy to get along with. We trusted her advice and felt confident bidding on places under her guidance. We highly recommend Diane Planidin as a realtor in Calgary.
