L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais Brooks n'étant pas touristique, on ne perd rien à être en bordure de la ville. L'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel souriant, et la chambre très propre, spacieuse, avec une literie confortable. Toutefois le petit déjeuner (continental, inclus dans le prix de la chambre) offre un choix assez limité. Le prix de la chambre est très raisonnable. ||A recommander sans réserve pour une nuit d'étape.

I would strongly advise against staying at the Canalta Hotel in Brooks. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional, making the experience extremely unpleasant. They didn’t allow the kids to have any fun or enjoy their time at the hotel, and when we asked for simple accommodations, they were dismissive and unhelpful. For example, the fitness room is restricted to 18+ even when accompanied by a parent, which is just unnecessary.

The rooms were okay, but everything else was a letdown. The staff yelled at the kids, and when there was a hockey tournament, the team was told they couldn't leave their gear in the hotel after they had packed up at 11:00 AM, even though their game wasn’t until 3:00 PM. To make things worse, it was -15°C outside, so they had to leave their equipment out in the freezing cold! When the team tried to explain their situation, the front desk staff didn’t offer any explanation, just a flat-out “no.”

Breakfast was dry and unappetizing, and the pool hours were very restrictive—only open from 9 AM to 10 PM. And don’t even think about bringing water into the pool area; one of the staff members actually told a child they couldn’t hydrate!

Also, they kicked us out of the breakfast area even though we weren’t done eating. Not to mention the food was so dry. I’ve heard others had similar bad experiences here, so I definitely do not recommend this hotel. If you're looking for a better experience, try the Ramada—it’s much more accommodating and friendly. Avoid Canalta Hotel Brooks if you want a stress-free stay. Not trying to be picky here just trying to lookout for others.

I really can’t express how this hotel has went above and beyond for our family. The staff are amazing and kind.
This chain of hotels have the cleanest and nicest facilities.
We find that our family will always take a Canalta hotel over any others.

We were there for a hockey tournament. From booking our block of rooms, right to check out the hotel exceeded expectation and services that were offered to us.
We were able to book a meeting space to eat, play and relax as a group For the entire weekend.
The staff were patient with the influx of kiddos roaming the halls.
A special thanks to the front desk girls Des and Shaylin for their kindness and accommodating our requests. They were quick acting and always offering help.

A few members of my family stayed here. All our rooms were good, lots of space and nicely furnished. It would be nice if there was more than one room with a walk-in shower for those with mobility problems.

There needs to be some way to get cash; my husband was told to go down the street to get cash. Completely unacceptable. Will definitely consider this when looking for hotels in the future.

One of the greatest hotels I ever stayed. We had a great time with my family. We enjoyed swimming pool and rec room. Rooms are tidy, awesome customer service, friendly staff and good breakfast (included). Highly recommended

This place was great. Room was clean and quiet with very comfortable beds and pillows, and Dove pump bottles in the shower. The pool area was clean and fun for the kids, and there is a games room. The breakfast was better than I expected, and they have an automatic pancake machine which is kind of fun. All staff were very friendly. Great location. Highly recommend for a good basic hotel in Brooks.
