I've stayed here a few times. Everything is clean and modern. What really sets it apart is the staff. They are wonderful! Always friendly and knowledgeable about the area. If you're ever in Shaunavon, I'd recommend it as a place to stay!

We stayed 2 nights to experience the nearby Grasslands National Park. I am so happy we decided to here. There were some options closer, but Shaunavon has a wonderful small town feel and I really liked the nearby businesses.

I had a weird experience booking. I looked online and the only room available was over 300. I called the hotel directly to try and book a room. They said they only had 2 rooms left. The Jacuzzi king sweet and a regular room as the Jacuzzi sweet was over 300. I opted for the regular room. My total came to 245. I was a little surprised with the price, but assumed since there was only two rooms they increased the room, basic business practices that I understand.

When I checked in, I was told I got the last room in the hotel and it was the Jacuzzi sweet. I explained that wasn't the case as that sweet was over 300 and I booked the only regular room they had. Turns out, the guy on the phone just lied and gave me a slight deal on the Jacuzzi sweet so I would book it.

It was pricy for a room, but it was the nicest room I've ever stayed in. My wife and I greatly enjoyed it. Will I get that room again? Probably not as that was the most expensive room I've been in. But it was a nice accident. I enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the room for the night.

We enjoyed our stay at the Canalta Hotel as we met as a family for a funeral. The staff were wonderful and helped whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend staying here.

Dog friendly! Loved the door right outside from the rooms. Room was clean and the air conditioner was amazing! Friendly and helpful staff

Friendly smiles as soon as you enter the building, from Debbie and Tamara at front desk, to Lori in room servicing! The team is ready to accommodate with little extras that made our week long stay extremely pleasant. The continental breakfast is 10/10. Huge recommendations to visit Canalta from my family(Molly our family pet) to yours! Will be back?
