Our front porche is not up to code (not sure how it passed city inspection), instead of fixing the grading which is also ridiculous, Cardel decided to put rails to meet building/grading code. After two years of continuous back and forth, this is what they ended up doing. This is not a joke, they actually did this!!

I bought my first home from Cardel assuming they are one of the better ones out there. However, the post-delivery support from Cardel in terms of fixing the issues is pathetic. They simply do not want to work on the mess they created with your home.

You will see indefinite delays in terms of their response. They will figure out ways to point out what you messed up in your Tarion form and how they will not do anything about it. Even for things they accepted are wrong, I never ever heard back from them.

I do not recommend Cardel unless you are okay spending rest of your life chasing these guys.

Our experience with Cardel has been great. The moment we decided to buy a house, the builder become one of the best choices we had because of its very good reputation and excellently built homes. We have been looking for the right home for our family for almost two years but as soon as we saw Cardel’s postings for one of their beautiful model homes, we didn’t waste time to decide. We really loved this marvellous property.

Above all, the excellent customer service experience we had from Betsy Leeks and her wonderful colleagues was astonishing. They were very helpful from the get-go. Thank you very much, Betsy and team.

We haven’t received this beauty yet as the closing date is in June. We are more than happy to come back and share our experience with Cardel once we moved-in.

I am completely in love with the layout and finishes. These days looking for homes I wonder new or resale and often the new homes are expensive look cheap and don't have the wow factor unless you have an unlimited budget.
This home is well priced gorgeously layed out from the finishes to the floors loved loved loved ♥️Good job Cardel Homes!!

Would not build with this builder again. Once you are handed the keys good luck. They are unprofessional and don’t respond to phone calls or emails. The quality and material is very poor. They didn’t follow code on electrical in my home. The cut outs for my appliances were wrong. That’s just the start. There is a huge list I have. They had booked appointments to fix items and had no showed me 4 times after I took the day off work. I would not recommend this builder to anyone.
They ask you to put items on your 30 day list that were missed at the PDI. However if the item is not on your PDI it is not covered (as per Cardel warrenty team). It’s very hard to get items fixed that are on the list.
Cardel lacks general customer service skills. They gifted us a cutting board when we moved in our home. It fell apart about a week after moving it. That is the perfect representation for the quality of our home.

First and only and last good experience is during the sales cycle, then becomes a nightmare when start to deal with the warranty department.

Cardel has overpriced homes that are not going to be worth the money by the time you get possession of the actual home. There is no sense of accountability or ownership by the builder. They keep booking homes but quality of delivered homes are going down by the day. Nobody knows anything about when things will get done. Used to be a good company but now you are better off spending your money elsewhere. Lately they have been delivering homes with tons of stuff unfinished by closing day and are not even ashamed to argue back with the homeowners when they complain about it. Everything gets conveniently blamed on construction department which apparently has no face. If you find yourself in such situations, the sales staff will be absolutely useless. They already have your money so you are stuck with making repeated calls and emails to their office with extremely slow and unsatisfactory resolution of issues.
