John was very personable and I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The offer was 10K more than some of the other companies I had contacted, so they didn't low ball me.The team at Cashyn homes went above and beyond the normal requirements of their jobs. I had a setback for the closing date due to a death in the family; John worked with the investors and pushed the closing date for another week to give me the time I needed to attend the funeral. And, when I still had some stuff left to move; he even personally helped me move the last of my property! Would recommend Cashyn homes again and again.

Conner and the team at Cashyn Homes were great to work with. Polite, friendly, and easy to work with. I live out of province and as a result there were a couple of small hiccups, but Cashyn took care of them promptly and to my complete satisfaction. I believe we got a fair price for our house, and I would definitely recommend them!

Got reeled in By head guy, July 2024 over my home which had been visited once before by one of their associates.
He offered me $680K for my home.
Assessed value is $678K this year.
I was told by the first guy, that they usually close 90%+ deals at their offer price.

Then as I exchanged over the next couple weeks, their offer price came down more and more until I met with the money lender for them. He was boisterous and a bit condescending and I’m disappointed I allowed him to come into my home.

Their verbal offer was $630K and no more.
Wow I was appalled and disappointed that I had prepared for sale and let good tenants end the lease with me.

Following this cheap offer I immediately listed my home for rent and got offers at phat rent money.

I’m glad we never did the deal.
I’m glad I won’t ever choose to deal with them again.

I wouldn’t normally write a post like this, but I’m concerned this company may be taking advantage of homeowners who may not realize the full value of their property. They offered me $160,000 less than the recent valuation I received from a realtor. Please be cautious and make sure you’re well-informed about the value of your home. It was valued by a realtor at $560,000 and they offered $400,000 to 420,000. This is an inner-city bungalow duplex and I don’t think you can buy an inner city apartment condo for that price!!! This represents almost a third of the price that they would pocket which, in my mind is unethical. I’m not saying don’t do business with Cashyn, but please get a second opinion before handing over your home.

We were under time constraints and selling without having to do all the renovations was exactly what we needed. We didn’t have the realtor fees so that saved money as well. They are a great choice to sell your home to without all the hassle of getting it “market ready”.
