First time visiting fort lauderdale. We ordered from Cecibon to go. We typically get Haitian food in NY and this was absolutely comparable and delicious! Would definitely recommend!

I was really looking forward to having Cecibon again after being away from Florida for over 10 years. The pikliz, fried chicken, the diri djondjon, and grito were so flavorful, I could taste my childhood. The service was average and slow, but understandable, there was one person at the counter Saturday afternoon and he was working hard taking and pushing orders non-stop. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a typical Haitian restaurant, nothing to see here, just get the food and go.

This breaks my heart to write but it is important inform the serious ethical issues at Cecibon. The owner has shown clear operations issues. My uncle have been working there since Jan 2024. They have short change him a number of times and is paying him significantly lower wages and not adhering to Florida employment laws. There are times he worked over 8 hours and only received $50 for his full time in cash. They agreed on a hourly rate of $10. When it was brought to the owner attention, he just threw extra $100. Not paying for the full time he has been present since Jan. Also one of his other coworkers did not receive a paycheck for over one month. They are doing this to recent legal authorized Haitian immigrants. You all should be a shame of yourself to do that to your own people.

This is honestly disappointing. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. Additionally, cecibon is cutting corners in operations and services, compromising quality and safety of leftover. The owner's frequent demeaning outbursts further contribute to a toxic work environment.

We are filing a report with the state office. Supporting businesses that treat their employees fairly and operate ethically strengthens our community and upholds our shared values.

Thank you for your attention. Together, we can ensure Miami remains a welcoming and respectful place for all. I will no longer be a guest of this business

It was the worst Haitian food I ever ate. The rice has no flavor the sauce looks like water, the the other thing that they cut up with cabbage and carrots, was the worst nastiest thing I ever ate, and the food is not prepared properly. And when you call to explain to them, they give you an attitude like you’re supposed to tell them, the food was good when it was not good. Macaroni and cheese. What is the worst. I just wasted my time and my money please if you ever think of going there, don’t go. If anyone go here and eat and say the food is good, it have to be one of their friends or they just don’t know how to cook. Waste of your time waste of your money and waste of your gas driving to that place I don’t even wanna call the name. It’s that place if I could give it a zero instead of a one star, I would give it a zero.

Had some problems with my order but they were very nice about it and accommodated.
We ordered plantain, fish (tilapia), chicken and griot. To start of, the rice was good, the viand' sauce was very tasty, though very liquid. The plantain was not crunchy because they were cut very thick, that was kind of a dissapointment. The pickliz was decent, a little blend but no regrets ! The griot was nice ! BUT fish and the chicken were a big no no ! Why are they battered and fried ? The extra step was unnecessary. It felt lazily done... Were trying an other place next time
