Beautiful place , the manager Waji Ahmad is friendly and helpful. Understands the needs and is always there to tend . The price seems some what fair .
The trains sound at night from the near by tracks was annoying at first but I learned to sleep through it

I moved in Oct 1, 2023. And I wasn't shown my apartment with all those pending repairs. Since then I clicked some pictures of all the pending repairs in my apartment out of which (Bedroom Closet Door) is priority as one door is missing from day 1. And i shared all the pictures with building manager. I asked building manager quite a few times but every time he says that he is getting delays from the management. But when it comes to the rent, they don't want any delays. It's getting so frustrating. I have no way to find out that what are my possible options to ask for help and where do I go.

Recently, there's been a noticeable change in the tone of reviews, particularly concerning the management style. Having been here for such a long time, I feel it's essential to offer a perspective that's grounded in long-standing experience. It appears that many of the comments and critiques stem from biases, influenced more by past affiliations and, unfortunately, seemingly tinged with racial undertones, rather than genuine concerns or experiences.

Waji’s approach, from what I've observed, is rooted in following the company's policies and ensuring consistency. Yet, some reviews unjustly paint a picture that doesn’t align with the reality I've witnessed over the past 15 years.

For those reading reviews and trying to form an opinion, it's crucial to sift through the noise and understand the biases that may be at play. Cedartree, as I've known it, has always been about community and fairness, and it's essential that perspectives shared are genuinely reflective of the lived experience, not influenced by external biases.

For us who have lived in the same apartment for a very long while now, I would say that this is a place where tenants even the elders can live with safety and that the current management is doing his best to keep the buildings clean and intact. He listens to our concerns and resolves issues whether it is social , technical or electrical problems as prompt as possible. I would recommend for those who are looking for a place to rent to come in and check.

Lived in one of the 1 bedroom units on the second floor of Building A for 6 months. Old building but the room I got was decent enough and incredibly spacious for its monthly rent. Management was very accommodating and super helpful. Debbie helped provide fast and seamless rental application process - thanks Debbie! Waji was very friendly and so easy to talk to - did not have major issues during my stay and no issues at all with the move out process. Thanks Waji!

lived here for 7 months, from November 2023 to May 2024 and it was wonderful, the manager is a very nice and understanding man and my place was nice and quiet, its right near everything you need like grocery stores, pharmacies and such!

Management changes frequently.
I am treated well but not so much my wife.
We Intend to move come spring. After 20 yrs in our unit we have had enough.
Current rates are 1800 for a 2 bdrm unit with no building amenities save for a laundry room of 5 washers and 4 dryers for 75 units. It does have a nice park like setting.
