I rent a townhouse through Celtic management and they have been nothing short of amazing. I'm dealing with a less than pleasurable condo board and Lisa with Celtic has stood by me and fought for me without question. My bathroom also required extensive repair and Patrick and Caeden with Celtic were amazing and went beyond their job duties to help with fixes around the house I couldn't do myself. Highly recommend these guys!

Celtic Management does NOT clearly communicate with residents, ignores emails, and does not return calls. Their manager will berate residents and workers of other businesses who need to do work on property. Do NOT hire this company as your management company, nor live in any places they manage.

In response to the owner's response:
I am working on moving out of your managed property. After that, you can talk to my lawyer. Good luck. I have evidence and witnesses to your companies' misdeeds.

When we owned our condo we had the pleasure of having Mitch B as our condo manager. He goes above and beyond to help with issues if they arise and keeps the condo common areas looking great. They even added flower beds and put a variety of flowers in every year, it really beautifies the grounds. They are quick with responses and I was very pleased with how much they truly care about keeping the property in its best condition while still keeping my condo fees low.
I really can't say enough good things about celtic, they made owning a condo a great experience for our family.

We've been working with Terri Mullen at Celtic Management, and she has been an incredible property manager. Terri is attentive, responsive, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She has always been quick to address any concerns and has consistently gone above and beyond in ensuring everything runs smoothly. They manage our apartment on 124st in Edmonton and they are aweful! So many problems within one year never living in a rental using them again!
To respond to the owner;
Our apartment's great landlord's great. It is the management company that is the issue. Terrible communication issues. Bad late notices for water, power being turned off or moving vehicle by the next day several times. We've had water and power randomly go out for hours without notice and when brought up we were told they were already notified about it and already working on it yet no email had went out. I do a lot of online classes and it has been hell with how many times the power will just go out right at 8:30-9:00 in the morning, I could not imagine having to live here and work from home and trying to explain to my boss that I couldn't make it to the meeting or work or whatever because power randomly decided to go out. The first winter we were here, We also had issues with our radiator and when we brought it up we got in trouble for not bringing it up to the right persons attention soon enough because we contacted the management's number on their website and not the specific person in our building, so by the time she (The management lady who lives in our building) found out it was later in the evening so they couldn't get someone to come fix it so they gave us three space heaters. It was one of the coldest Winters in years. Management company loves to threaten to tow people's car from their own parking spot you can go out by 8:35 and they'll already have your car hooked up to take away. They also don't just tow it to another Street. They tow it across town, which several other tow companies have told us was weird. Most management companies will tow the cars to the next street over. (Sometimes they send a notice to remove the car the night before!)
We also had a cockroach infestation for several months, it took several renters requesting the apartment to be fumigated for it finally to be done after just sending people in to spray powder over four times and it consistently not working.
And on top of that, because our building specifically is consistently under construction, we consistently have problems and noise, they did the balconies and we still haven't been allowed out on them even though they're finished. They threatened to kick anyone out whose was seen on them. When they also changed the doors they didn't do the locks/ handles/ frames or something properly and the door was not latching properly behind people and homeless people were getting into the building.
All of the issues that we have experienced since moving in has been because of the management and construction and how management deals with said issues and construction. We have heard through the walls Several several owners showing off their apartments trying to sell them and complaining non-stop about the management company and how much they just want to sell and be rid of this building. We also know several renters that have gotten a discount on the rent because of the issues and construction in the building.
Our landlords have been the best landlords we have ever had. We've had minimal issues in the actual apartment and any issue we have had, They have fixed swiftly. They're amazing! They even gave us Christmas presents. If it wasn't for the landlords, we would have moved already. Our landlords are our favorite.
So in conclusion, I am a renter. My landlord's own the apartment, I Will not be saying what apartment besides it is 124th Street as I don't want them or us to get in any trouble, as we are still currently living here. My issues have been 100% with the management company only.
And as the owner I find your response disgusting, for you to dismiss my issues and blame them on the landlords while also claiming I don't live in a building managed by your company when you clearly don't know me or what issues I've had is disgusting!
After reading the owners worse and down right appalling responses to any of the other negative reviews I'm not surprised how she responded to me anymore!

Valerie is an awful management rep to deal with. Can't speak for the rest of the company, Bev when covering Valerie's vacations has been great. However numerous issues brought up over months with our condo building common areas yet to be addressed, Valerie is forgetful and a bit complacent. Would not recommend. Attention to detail just isn't there.
