Nice building, library looked nice. Staff at the city service counter were extremely rude to not only myself but others just trying to get their documents in check. Felt as if every effort to turn people away was used and their check in system is clearly being abused to accomplish as little as humanly possible. Witnessed staff members be extremely patronizing to atleast two older citizens having troubles with the sign in station and rude to the young couple next to me trying to get their marriage license. Having spent nearly an hour and a half waiting for my turn to speak to someone it was very clear that many people leaving the counter were visibly frustrated by how they were treated by these so called "city servants". During my time at the counter I was met with rude tones and what felt like several attempts to make me give up my request in an interrogative fashion, I did not allow myself to stoop to the level of the woman I was speaking with as I was confident in arriving fully prepared to get what I needed done. Highly disappointed that tax payer dollars are funding what is clearly a toxic and inefficient work environment that is supposed to serve the people of Ottawa. I get that work can be stressful and that resources may not be all there but it doesn't cost a dime to be polite to people.

Staff at city of Ottawa service desk were extremely rude and less than helpful to say the least. Our interaction was less than 2 minutes long in an empty office and I can confidently say if I’m ever in need of their services again I will be visiting a different location.

Worst building ever, it’s a publicly tax payer funded parking lot and building and they have security to make sure you don’t park there and are beyond rude, this one round in shape security officer is the rudest person I’ve ever met she gets off on yelling at you and will refuse to give her name

Needed to get a document signed. Set up an appointment online, used their SMS check link, called moments later, in and out in 5 minutes. Better than pre-COVID.
