This week my wife and I took possession of our first house and I wanted to give a huge thanks to Kent Braaten. We looked for many months at over 30 homes and every time we went out Kent was incredible. Being a first time home buyer the whole experience was very exciting. When we met with Kent we had no idea what to expect as we had never done this before. He was okay in the beginning while showing us houses although he had a tendency to be late for the majority of our appointments. When we put an offer in on our house the seller didn't get back to us when they should have. I would expect a realtor to keep me in the loop in a situation like this; that was not the case with Kent. I felt he had too much on his plate at once and he didn't take the time and effort with us at all. On the date of our possession (a day that my family and I should hold dear to our hearts) he simply popped by my work and dropped off a single key to our new home. He told me he would call me in a week or so to see how we were settling in and I never heard from him again until I wrote him an e-mail a few months later. Months have past since we took possession of our home and our experience with Kent still upsets me.
