I have loved every minute of living here at Meadowbrook. I have so many new friends and lots of new activities to participate in. I didn’t know this was what I needed until I got here! Tenants at Meadowbrook Retirement Community lead a healthier and better life. They are able to participate in activities that are organized leading to joy and love as they meet new people. They are no longer lonesome living in their own home. The staff are like family, very friendly, full of care and love.

Meadowbrook has made our neighbor feel right at home. I have dealt with Lyndsey many times over the course of settling her in and Lyndsey is quick to answer and get me the info I need. Her positive attitude and quick responses have given me peace of mind that our neighbor is in a nurturing and positive environment! Thanks for the peace of mind Lyndsey!

Mom moved into Meadowbrook Retirement Residence a little over a week ago. All I can say is the staff has been extremely helpful, supportive and caring. Lyndsey the Health and Wellness Manager has went over and beyond with her caring, helpfulness, compassion, smiles, all and all has been an absolute pleasure and blessing having met this lovely lady. Mom is fortunate to have her in her life and looking out for her wellbeing. Truly grateful ♥️

Chartwell Meadowbrook Retirement living. I am totally speechless, anyone who knows me, knows I have no shortage of words. I say things the way I see them. My wife and i moved from a retirement home in Peterborough to Lively. We arrived at 9:15am Monday May the 27th 2024. We had rented a apartment suite, and at 10:345am when the movers arrived we were moving into the assisted side. We were allowed to move in our furniture, even though the paperwork wasn't fully done, I was blown away when the General Manager Jody Lamothe said we are family don't worry everything will be good. That hour and a half was a totally disaster so many things to change high level approvals, paperwork changed well through the day. it was 5:30pm when most issues were solved thanks to Lyndsey Wheeldon the Health and Wellness Manager. Such dedication. Everyone was so helpful and supportive and encouraged us not to worry. No words can ever tell the story of our experience our feelings... thank you not only to the management but the kitchen staff the servers, the cleaning staff everyone. They all said hi, don't worry all had happy smiling faces. At no point was there any negatives. It continued the next day as well;. All that was happening was like we were filming a holly wood movie. Because i believe stuff that happened only existed in the movies. I want to thank my 2 daughters, who pointed out certain things that actually made sense. I added to the issue that my wife slid out of bed and fell on the floor the first night and within 2 minutes of summoning help someone was there. We had to call the paramedics and they were out of this world. Knowledge and helpful and comforting. The drama continued for over a week to get settled with out payment being several days late because of the change and many other things that happened during the week. i guess I found some words but the truth is what a day what a week. Thank you all.

I recently moved my Mom to the Lively Chartwell Meadowbrook Retirement facility. The entire staff have made her feel welcome and valued, which contribute to her sense of well being. Jody, Lyndsey and the entire management team have helped to make this transition seamless for my Mom. Can’t recommend this facility enough!

This place was a godsent for me and my Mother. From the first day to the last day we were treated with respect, kindness, and friendship from all employees. They were all so helpful with anything I asked or inquired about. They eased my anxiety and nervousness if there was problem with Mom. Having her living at Meadowbrook made me feel at ease to know she was taken care of. The staff made you feel welcomed, always. The home was always kept clean and wonderfully decorated. Many activities for the residences to do. Mom especially liked the euchre games and tournaments. She was always doing something. Thank you Meadowbrook for being so very caring.

Our family is beyond grateful to the staff and maintenance personnel for their guidance, assistance and encouragement during the move of our 92 year old mother from the apartments to the assisted living wing. The staff was so upbeat and consistent with positive conversations to our family and directly to our mom. The maintenance staff were so very helpful with our requests of assistance. Absolutely every resident we spoke with were so happy and encouraging to mom. The whole atmosphere and environment has confirmed to our family that the right decision was made for this move. It's only been a few days and we already see the happy eyes again. It's great to know that she is safe, well fed, and has a clean and happy atmosphere to fill her days.
