I've been living in my apartment for over two years now and I love living here. Now you need to know that there are some rules you have to follow(no smoking, no pets, no children are the main ones) is good for me as I'm allergic to cats and dogs and hate that smoke smell. My apartment is very quiet and I never hear my neighbors and when I moved in my apartment was clean. When my water pipe started leaking they had it repaired same day and when my hot water faucet in the bathroom stopped working, it was fixed same day. Some of the other reviews complained about the landlady, Heather, who they say some horrible things about her. I personally have no issues with her. She is friendly with me.

I'd give this dump negative stars if I could.Heather and Grant are the most god awful people u can meet and will treat u terribly. They will keep your damage deposit regardless of the state of your apartment. Heather charged my 600 $ to clean out the freezer and another $500 to clean the stove.all in she said they did over 30hrs of cleaning even though I spent a week cleaning and had the rugs professionally.they said the move out report came to $3400 but because my damage deposit was only $900 they'd do me a favor and call it even.I wish I wouldn't have even cleaned it at all.it's also infested with bed bugs and they won't pay for the extermination. They'll say that u brought the bed bugs there even though the dump is covered with them before you move in.Please dont even consider renting there.I'd honestly rather live in a homeless shelter.

Very rude and unprofessional land lady. I had moved into this building with a girl I met through work. Upon moving in we noticed the walls were soiled(like someone had sprayed champaigne everywhere) as well as the kitchen appliances were filthy. After several months of living there my roommate decided to move to Edmonton. I had made a agreement with Heather (land lady) that I would find a new roommate and continue to reside at Clayton park apartments. A week and a half later I had contacted Heather to inform her that I found someone to share the space with. Although this girl was under 25, Heather had agreed to let her move in after I informed her that she was reliable, quiet, attending school and working full-time. We were to meet the following Monday to sign the lease. Heather met my new roommate(who at the time had purple hair) in the hall the next day and snapped at her asking "who are you", my new roommate introduced herself politely. Monday morning had come after a long weekend of moving in my new roommate and we awoke to a 2 week eviction notice. The date we were to be moved out was Christmas Day, and my roommate was to be moved out in 24 hours because she was not on the lease. Of course I knew this was extremely illegal but we scrambled to leave after being treated with such disrespect for we had done nothing wrong. The next two weeks I had recieved threatening voicemails and notes under the door from Heather. I responded to her taunts with a very professional and polite letter, explaining that I will be moved out on the day she posted and that I would like to schedule a appointment for a walk through. After we moved out she contiued to take most of our damage deposit for washing the cutains and cleaning the carpets. Although the building is very nice and the location is great, the land lady is very unpleasant to deal with.

Don and Jen reviewing this place must be among the 55+ age category.
This was the worst experience I've had renting in Red Deer.
I'm sure you can guess the landlord name from the other reviews. And I would sympathize with her and her husband but their disorganization has caused major issues. There wouldn't be these issues if other building managers were in place to look after the 200+ some units!!!
My experience of discrimination, (B&E) breaking and entering into my premise, delaying repairs on back-up sinks!! (Two stinky weeks!!!! Literally). After two weeks of waiting patiently, I was forced to phone the main management company out of Calgary. The next morning the husband entered my premise without notice a 24hr notice to fix it!!! That was the first time of two incidents where they unlawfully entered my premise. I was just honestly glad to have my sink fixed. After that incident I was disrespected by the two managers as if I did something wrong....
I've gladly been out of the apartments for close to three months. A new tenant have replaced my spot and I still haven't received my damage deposit or papers stating the end of my tenancy at clayton apartments...... The two husband and wife manager are clearly not capable of managing these apartments anymore. TIME TO RETIRE!!!!

I would not recommend this apartment building to anyone! Heather the landlady is wretched, racist and extremely unprofessional. She doesn't care about the residents and freaks out on people for the stupidest reasons, like asking to to turn the heat down in the hallways in the summer. I have witnessed her spread rumours about people, talk trash about residents and make countless racist remarks. You do not want to get involved with this Jekyll and Hyde lady. It's not worth it.

What dump!!!the landlords are scum of the earth.2 of the worst people I've ever seen. The building is infested with bed bugs and mice.rents extremely high and dont expect the damage deposit back when u move out. Absolutely a nightmare to rent from these scumbags. The reviews that are above a two star rating on this page were obviously written by the disgusting old pig heather handford who is the landlady aka prison warden of this hell hole. Heather i hope u burn in hell u disgusting old p.o.s.

I see a lot of bad reviews but this is probably the best and cleanest place in Red Deer. If you're quiet and clean, you will not have any issues. If you smoke, play loud music or make a mess, you will have a difficult time with Heather. Any respectful person will be just fine.

Heather the property manager had to be the rudest most unprofessional induvidual I have ever dealt with. I am a community service worker and I would have to say most of my clients behave better then her. Do not rent here it would be a huge mistake. When I asked to speak with her superior she hung up the phone and no longer would answer my calls.
