The strata management is extremely unprofessional, with little to no clear communication on important matters. They regularly issue fines without any explanation or prior notice, leaving residents confused and frustrated. There is a complete lack of transparency and accountability, and any attempts to seek clarification are often ignored or met with vague responses. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience dealing with this strata – communication and management are both severely lacking.

Living in a strata for the last 8 years with Colyvan as the management company has been my misfortune. Unresponsive, unreliable, dismissive. I have dealt with many management companies as both a renter and an owner, and Colyvan is by far the worst. There was a change in the person after complaints, and he was great. But he left, and we are now back to poor service and questionable attitude. I should be able to provide a no-star rating. The only reason I'm doing this review is that in the most recent exchange, there was a link to leave a review if you are happy with their service. Well, not all reviews are positive. One should learn from a less-than-positive review. Hope springs eternal.

This organization seems to have relationships with contractors with poor and unethical business practices. They should take into account feedback from owners and tenants about the contractors they use to maintain the buildings they manage.

Its not the PM that are responsible for the degradation of an entire strata. Its a weak board, unwilling to spend money and ignoring all depreciation reports. L'Atelier is such a place, slowly sliding intto getto because of a weak board which is I understand ghastly to sit on because of the hundreds of complaints. How many managers have passed through accomplishing nothing? Again they aren't paid to do a proper job. Its a joke.

This review is specifically in regards to our new strata manager Calvin T. He’s incredibly responsive, courteous, professional and reliable. Our best strata manager yet at our building. To be quite honest, all our previous strata managers have been terribly disorganized and unresponsive to emails and giving incorrect information. I do fear that it was related to their workload. So hopefully Colyvan manages to manage workload for these strata managers to a reasonable level so that they can provide superior service to to their clients!
