For the most part I am satisfied. It is our first house so it was very exciting. There are a few items that the builder never really fixed properly even after our 2 year period but overall I am happy with our home and our buying experience

I purchased a new home in the Enclave project and moved in July 2022. My new home is beautiful and in spite of Covid and a construction strike I only had a minor delay on closing! The Coughlan team have been wonderful to deal with and incredibly responsive. I did not have any major concerns with my house and even minor deficiencies were dealt with quickly. If I ever had a concern of any kind I sent an email to Shannon and usually within the hour Barry was at my door to remedy the concern. The subcontractors and Coughlan team have been incredibly professional and the workmanship has been better than I anticipated. I would strongly recommend Coughlan as a builder. Thanks again for my great home !

We got our house closed this year (Mar 2023) in Enclave community.
I want to mention that Coughlan is a great builder and in fact a hidden gem (doesn’t justify the underrating here). The quality of the construction, materials used are absolutely amazing. All of that came with decent and reasonable price compared to other large builders. Lot of upgrades were offered as standard. In fact my friends who visited house really appreciated the workmanship. I understand how COVID impacted builders like Coughlan, yet they strived hard to give us house delivered with only little delay (accommodated our concerns too).
Starting from Lisa, then Shannon, Barry everyone was amazing, all were seasoned professionals. The PDI person took great amount time to explain every bit of detail. Sod-ing, Road work, Driveway work were all done within time frame and all were quick while not compromising on great quality. I would not hesitate to buy another house with Coughlan or refer to my friends and family. This builder cares!

We moved into our coughlan home in July of 2020. The process from buying, to after move in support was nothing short of excellent. Lisa in the sales office was very professional and responded back in a timely manner. Barry and his day 2 support team always greet you with a smile and make you feel like a part of the family. Kudos to Coughlan!

Its not surprising that Coughlan won the award for the best builder in Durham.. I say that they should win the best builder in the entire GTA. It was such a fantastic and hassle-free experience to buy a house from Coughlan Homes during the pandemic. They made the entire process so simple, and were very responsive at every stage of the buying process. Their built quality and craftmanship is unmatched in the region, and their service is top notch!. I would highly recommend them, and would be at ease to go through the entire process of buying a house from them again. Thank you Coughlan Homes!

Purchased a townhouse in Enclave and paid a premium for corner and cul de sac lot. The whole community is very poorly planned with narrow streets, no parks for kids, no visitor parking, and little to no frontage in front of the house. On top of all that the whole cul de sac has been deemed a fire route with no logic to have both sides as fire route. The build quality is very average and warranty repairs are not done correctly first time around and will have to call them in multiple times to get things completed. Will not recommend buying from these guys.

Received a town home from the builder June 2023. There were many issues with the house that to date have not been fixed including a street drainage in front of the garage making it impossible to get in and out the garage. The builders response to any issue is "that nothing can be done about it" including cabinet not provided as selected during color selection. Highly recommend not buying from this builder.
