Cowichan bay is a descent strip of town with shops and eateries, huge wharf with boats and houseboats. Went there to see the sea lion migration. It was worth it.
Interesting little town easily walked from end to end. Worth a visit ..

Great place to tie up for the day and explore the village. Transient moorage available on a first come, first serve basis as they don't take reservations.

One of the best transient moorages! The Wharfinger Mark is a great guy and we enjoyed his company. Mark does a lot to make sure your experience is a good one. Helpful and good with getting you safely tied up and if given enough notice, will find you a spot. Thanks again! We'll be back!

Great place to tie up for a few nights. Close to shops, taxi to Duncan for $30. Great wharf staff two years in a row, super helpful and accommodating, last year in a bigger sailboat and this year in a little runabout.

Free public access. Busy and lots to see. Boats, sea lions, marina, seasonal seafood sales, public washrooms.
