We are coming up on a year living in the apartment ♡ life was so uncertain when we moved here and we definitely weren't in a spot to be able to afford this building or move at all for that matter but we had to, that being said the place has been worth every penny , Anna and Cathy have been so so amazing and patient with us as we adjusted to living here , they make payments and interactions pleasant and safe feeling experience.
The rooftop patio and BBQ is our families favorite place to enjoy in the summer and we plan to hold future birthdays there for the kids ♡ the gym in the tower is available to the other residents which is amazing ♡ our neighbour's have been nothing but an absolute match made in heaven and I can finally say we feel like we have a safe and secure home to call our own.
Something breaks down? Dave has always been so quick and efficient helping fix things up.
The pool, theater , elementary school and a professional soccer field, parks galore and walking trails and community gardens. I wish I could give more than 5 stars ♡
I hope we get to stay for a long long time
It has been an amazing place for families and kids

My wife, roomie and myself have lived here since the building first opened, Its actually fairly affordable for a dog/cat friendly Building. 🙂 Our Management team is also very professional, friendly and understanding as well.

They slack on enforcing the rules; it's like a free-for-all. Don't waste your money paying for parking. People just park their vehicles in visitor parking or EV parking spots, and when you complain, they do nothing about it. Cops are here a lot. I thought one lived here, but they don't. Garbage fills the bins and ends up all over the ground for days before anything is done. Staff walk by as renters park in visitor's parking or the EV spots, which are public chargers with gas pickup trucks and gas cars and do nothing about it.

I really enjoyed my two years living at Crestview. Both Jenn and Chris are wonderful. One of the benefits of living at Crestview is that they have a building manager and office on site as well as maintenance. If I ever had any issues they were always footsteps away. If there were any issues after hours, I appreciated the ability to call the Broadstreet 24 hour line as well. I felt like I was always taken care of.

When I left, I had an issue with retaining all of my damage deposit but it was swiftly dealt with by Jenn.

I wrote a lovely review but forgot to put in the 5 stars so it would appear my very complementary review has disappeared -Damn - But here is a new one.
Ok, three days later have just had a nice steak and baked potato, and am not tired so here goes.
My wife and I moved into Crestview at Seymour when it first opened and due to health issues moved out just over a year later. This building, and the management team are so damn nice that we would happily stayed there til we croaked.
We had lived just prior in a self proclaimed “ luxury apartment residence “ and wondered how much less happy we would be downsizing to a non luxury building. We need not have worried.
Crestview at Seymour in our opinion is just as quiet as the luxury unit was, and the build quality appears much the same.
The difference is in the atmosphere of the building - it is full of good folks living life with their children and their pets, and it is a very welcoming atmosphere.
The building manager Jen and the maintenance manager Chris are the two big assets that separate this building from the rest Jen has a perpetual smile and kind words for everyone always. She goes above and beyond daily to ensure each and every tenants life in the building is as pleasant as possible. Jen loves her job and her tenants and it shows.
Chris keeps the building and the common areas in tip top condition and he also is extremely accommodating and does it all with a big smile.
Broadstreet Properties ( a Campbell River company by the way ) promises a different rental experience and that isn’t just advertising hype. They deliver on that promise in spades and for us at least have exceeded expectations in every possible way. Bravo to Broadstreet Properties and the Mailman family for creating Crestview at Seymour Village and special kudos to Jen and Chris for making it a building where anyone would be happy to live..

Love these places. So clean and nice. Great service if you need any help and maintenance issues fixed fast. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, AC and large rooms. I love living here and the people in my building are supper nice to chat with.

I have lived here since the building opened. I love the friendly, understanding and professional Management Team. Love the fact that this is a dog/cat friendly building and caters to all members of the family.

Beyond the control of the staff--One issue has been the elevator and the number of times it has not been available due to 'maintenance'; especially important for tenants with mobility issues. This has greatly improved since last July. There is talk about the rent increasing, which would be disappointing.

Poor construction (bldg 2yrs as of June 2020), e.g. gaping crack in ceiling, A/C unit poorly installed; dogs not properly socialized; almost everybody smokes; too many RCMP visits; neighbours from hell, e.g. music, laundry at midnight; the ditz above playing catch with her dog on hardwood floor, and sweeping dirt and rain water, and deliberatey tossing dog hair onto my balcony. One bdrm was $1,248 in 2,019, now $1,508.There are decent and competent people managing day-to-day, yet I'd advise avoiding Broadstreet (Seymour Pacific Properties) at your peril.
