This morning a driver from this company took me off my road. It was a very bad experience. They should be trained better. It is very dangerous that citizens' lives are in danger because of a driver like this.

They employee unsafe drivers! This driver just ran me off the highway because he did not check his mirrors at all. My husband is a truck driver so I understand blind spots, etc. This driver was just careless. It was so bad that another trucker caught up to me to ask if I was ok! He should be fired immediately.

I'm a driver and I just started .... Along the way on route this was my fuel stop so I decided to park here for my 10 hour break.. I can only speak for myself the parking wasn't that many spots but definitely for the spots that were available it was plenty of space to set yourself up and park..

Crete is a good company to work for but this terminal sucks. There’s no where to park after 6pm dropped and sold trailers everywhere. Was this terminal just build for us to just drop trailers and leave? ?

Crete/Shaffer didn't work out too well for me due to personal reasons, but this company offers something that nearly no mega carrier offers and that's professionalism and honesty within their leadership.

The Terminal Manager + Assistant Manager are extremely polite, professional and down to earth. They both took time to talk with me and try to help me get stuff sorted.

If I decide to return to OTR trucking, I'd definitely come back for those reasons alone. It's hard to find leadership in this industry that treats you with respect like this terminal does.

Every employer has their good, not so good, and bad. If I am being totally honest, I'd tell any driver to come and work with this mostly great bunch of people. The pay, miles, and benefits are fantastic. If I have my way I WILL retire from Shaffer.

Most of the spots are filled by empty trailers so there is no parking, despite an overflow lot sitting empty and locked so drivers can't use it. And the building with the drivers' amenities is outside of the fence with no signs indicating it's over there. It looks like a different business. Crete, a couple of large font signs go a long way. This place is needlessly frustrating and feels hostile to drivers.

Been years since I’ve been to this terminal. Gave it another try today. Quickly reminded why I don’t come here. It stays packed. With sale trucks and trailers. Wrecked trucks everywhere. Bobtails taking up full spots everywhere. Sold trailers in the main lot bc their side lot they had built for sold trailers is packed. Drivers drop trailers randomly in the middle of the parking area, so pray you don’t wake up and you’re blocked in. This is EASILY one of the worst terminals in the entire company. Go further up or down 81 and hit a truck stop. Much better option.
