Review is really not my thing! but there is one Lady working on Leasing Dept. who deserve to be acknowledge...one of the foremost asset of this Company so far, I heard a lot of reviews about unprofessionalism... but for me she deserve a 5 star review from us especially right now that we do not have a Resident Manager here at Adsum Garden. Why? simply because she always enlighten us about our concern and inquiries. Two thumbs up for you Ms. Karen! Please continue to help tenants like us who really in need of outstanding customer service skills.

It is been a year since we moved to Harvest Crossing - under Crystal Properties.

It was our first rent experience in Canada and in the beginning it seems to be all good.

Hovewer there were already three managers of the building, and they seem to be willingly trying to help but I am not sure what is the reason of waiting for so much time(3-9 months) to have some minor repairs done ?

Office or whoever is responsible for repairs questions does not care about your requests at all.

I asked to repair patch and cracks on the wall in July 2023, and nothing has been done so far.

I also asked about the door on the balcony which needs to be repair in April,2024 -nothing …bugs,dust and everything is coming underneath the door. Hope it will be repaired till winter.

Now, unfortunately I see all these reviews from other people and realize that is not only me experiencing this complete inadequate attitude.

I strongly recommend against renting with Crystal Properties. Their staff is unresponsive to phone calls and emails from tenants, and they fabricated damages on our move our report to be able to keep the majority of our security deposit. This is after I was a model tenant - always paying rent on time, never receiving a complaint, and spending hours of my time cleaning the suite before I left. I considered taking them to the RTB but the hours spent doing paperwork and attending hearings is not worth my time as a working professional. I’m sure they know this when they choose to steal from people. Instead, I will never rent with them again. Another typical dishonest and unprofessional property management company to avoid.

My experience has been awful, they are consistently late, unresponsive and uncaring. They do not respect your time or you as a renter. Trying to get any repairs or fixes done is impossible, they will simply not respond or take forever to get back to you.

The only time they will ever respond to you quickly is if you owe rent, they will do whatever they can to avoid doing repairs or helping you in any way.

Crystal properties will make every step as tedious as possible, and it’s honestly impressive. The staff are clueless, always late and overall incredibly unaware. They will miss appointments and then ghost you.

Crystal properties is an embarrassment of a rental property management. If you ever need anything done you will need to email, call, text, do whatever you can MULTIPLE times. I am not joking when I say they will sometimes just fully not show up, when plans have been made.

Wish I could negative stars to them. I thought residential managers are rude and don’t care but I guess they are not wrong either because the property manager herself is the worst person to deal with. She claims to be the boss but she doesn’t know how to talk and she is so rude and disrespectful that she will make you cry. I literally cried and felt mentally harassed by her. She is so arrogant and will not be ready to do anything. We had so many repair issues but she had the audacity to come and say there is nothing wrong and blamed us for not “cleaning”. She is the only person who said our unit is not clean otherwise all other people come and compliment that we’ve maintained this old unit with a lot of issues.

I regret to say that my experience with Crystal Properties has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite being a loyal tenant for three years, they demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and professionalism when it came to handling a simple subletting situation.

Months before our move-out date, we diligently found a subletter to take over our lease. However, less than a month before the end of our lease, the subletter was unexpectedly deported. Despite having a signed contract terminating our lease agreement, Crystal Properties attempted to hold us liable for finding a new subletter or paying out the remainder of our lease.

Only after seeking legal advice did Crystal Properties reluctantly take over the responsibility of finding a new sublet, but not without causing immense stress and anxiety during a time when I had just given birth to my first child and was in the process of buying our first home.

Their disregard for their tenants' well-being and their willingness to exploit any loophole to avoid their own responsibilities is utterly appalling. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from Crystal Properties to proceed with extreme caution and to thoroughly review their rights as tenants before signing any agreements.

In addition to the mishandling of the subletting situation, Crystal Properties also exhibited incompetence in managing basic administrative tasks. Specifically, they made an error regarding my security deposit, and despite numerous attempts to contact them to rectify the situation, it has been an uphill battle to get a hold of anyone willing to address the issue.

Their lack of responsiveness and accountability further exemplifies their unprofessionalism and lack of regard for their tenants' rights and concerns. It is unacceptable for a property management company to neglect their responsibilities and ignore legitimate inquiries from their tenants.

Overall, my experience with Crystal Properties has been marred by incompetence, negligence, and disregard for tenant well-being. I strongly caution anyone considering renting from them to proceed with extreme caution and to thoroughly document all interactions and agreements to protect themselves from potential exploitation and mistreatment.

If possible would give a -10. Lived at a Crystal building for 25 years . Resident mgr was always great. Crystal always rude and confrontational. Any problems were always greeted with an attack -- tenant is wrong and an idiot. Very aggressive battles and constant threats. Building is now owned by Globe. Night and day -- they are very professional - always a polite response and everything taken care of quickly without the nastiness of Crystal. Good riddance.

The managers need more training to deal with housing issues. It’s not only limited to signing lease. It is about maintaining a relationship between tenants and crystal properties. If your apartment is in good condition you are lucky but if you have any issues ( even emergency) and you request you manager politely ( because you believe that he is there to help you) then you are in trouble. Ask them 100 times they will tell oh yes I will call head office. Pls tell me why he can’t get maintenance done even after 8 days. I moved to this apartment on august 1st and trust me the worst decision. I hope my apartment issues will be sought out after this because it’s been 8 days my kitchen sink is leaking, washbasin is blocked and forget about small issues.
