Did my maternity photoshoot in the sunflower maze! 🌻 The location was easy to find & there was lots of parking when we went at 2pm!
I didn’t have the energy to walk up through the maze to get the top but I could see some people flying kites which was cute! 🪁

So beautiful! I went during covid and the only thing you had to do was apply for a time slot online. You can stay as long as you want and take as many pictures as you want. It is a natural beauty and if you love sunflowers it is definitely the place for you. It’s around an hour drives from Halifax but worth it!

What an amazing peaceful place to spend time. The care and thought that This family puts into that space for all to enjoy is amazing to begin with … add to that the rewarding experience of seeing the bees so plentiful and happy … a little slice of heaven right there. The owner was even kind enough to trek up the hill to do a group photo for us - we are incredibly grateful. There are also kites to fly if you’re so inclined, picnic tables, a shop stocked with home made jellies and honey … I can’t recommend the beauty of this place highly enough!

Great idea of making a sunflower maze! Good for pollinating and helping monarch butterflies and bees. I love the sound of the birds chirping and noise of the grasshoppers or crickets. That was a nice walk!

Visited today for the Sunflower field and pop up market. $12 per person was steep and all they had was a portapotty
No shade no water bring whatever you need and come prepared. We spent maybe 40 minutes taking photos I don't think I'd come again. Market had maybe 10 vendors all of whom looked bored and was set up separate so I had to walk so far from parking in the heat back and forth
I don't understand the appeal of the place unless you're there for a photo opp

Surprised by the sheer size of the sunflower maze; it was huge! Made for a really nice stroll and some cute pictures. The other activities available on-site were nice as well (frisbee, washers, kite flying, soccer croquet, etc) and it was a wonderful spot for a picnic.

Beautiful place to stop in and visit, the trails and views are spectacular! staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
come with friends or enjoy the peace and tranquility of the bees buzzing and crickets chirping on your own!
definitely recommend
