I booked a unit in the Gables in Whistler through VRBO. Cancelled 6 week prior to the deadline for 100% refund if cancelled cancelled. They refused to fully refund my deposit. I contacted them via VRBO and phone, and Tanya at Destination Properties was unfriendly, then stopped taking my calls and never returned my voice messages. I am still owed money by this shady rental management company. Beware!

We have booked with Destination Properties for many years and stayed in several of their properties. The properties are in the best location! The team are extremely accommodating, quick to respond to any requests. So thankful that we have created so many amazing Whistler memories and plan to book again and again with Destination Properties.

Consumer BEWARE...Destination Properties Whistler is a greedy, unethical, immoral, and dishonest business. They cancelled my reservation that I booked 9 months ago so they could rebook it at a higher rate. The offered no remorse or reasonable solution - they simply cancelled. They have successfully ruined our Christmas vacation less than one month out and they will do the same to you because they have no business ethics or morals. I recommend all property owners and vacationers to look elsewhere for a property management service provider.

As the owner of a licensed real estate company in Hawaii for over a decade I can assure you that I know the level of service and ethics imposed on Licensed real estate professionals, especially property managers who manage investment properties for trusting owners. Destination Properties Whistler is not the type of business you want to do business with. They are liars, unethical, and have no remorse for bad business moves that they make. They don't care about the consumer nor do they have any empathy for the impact their bad decisions have on others. From my nearly 20 years in the real estate business I know that unethical "professionals" will be served back what they serve on to others, but in the meantime don't put your important travel plans in the hands of this shady business. Consider yourselves warned. November 2022.

Went for a week with friends my first time to whistler,these accommodations where amazing ! So close to everything just a short walk to all the amenities
Beautiful views and the place we stayed was excellent ! Would recommend for anyone looking for a good clean well appointed home away from home !

4510 Backcomb way Gables properties. Coazy clean lodgings very close to Whistler village approx 10 minute walk. Parking for two vehicles, 2 bath 3 bed sleeps 8 comfortably. I would stay here again.
