De loin là pire expérience client que nous ayons eu ! Irrespectueux et dégradant !
Nous avions réservé une voiture sur le net avec des assurances.
Arrivé au desk pour faire les papiers, nous lui donnons le permis de conduire et commence le sketch ! Commençons par l’accueil tout simplement lunaire, en lui donnant mon permis de conduire la personne au desk a tout bonnement décidé que je ne ressemblais pas à la photo …. Au début on a penser à une blague tellement c’était gros ! Mais pas du tout, je n’avais pas de barbe sur la photo de mon permis à l’époque ! Qui avait quelques années mais valide ! On lui montre aussi le passport pour corroborer mon identité !
Mais la personne n’a rien voulu savoir ! Elle n’avait clairement pas envie de bosser ! Et en avait rien à faire !
On lui a même prouvé que le permis avait été pris pour une location de voiture la veille sans problèmes ! Donc imaginez notre stupeur sans solutions avec personne pour vous aider !
Nous nous sommes retrouvé au guichet avec une voiture payé pour une location que nous ne pouvions pas retiré ! Après un voyage retardé de 6h…. Je vous laisse imaginer l’enfer ! Il a fallu annuler la resa avec le décalage horaire l’heure de prise de la voiture était déjà effectué donc impossible d’annuler sans des pénalités ! l’enfer !
Nous avons du relouer une voiture chez les concurrents chez ALAMO pour qui il n’y avait pas de problèmes d’identité !
Nous avons compris après que la personne au desk ne pouvais nous vendre d’assurance car nous en avions prise une et ça cela ne lui a visiblement pas plus ! Car’pas possible de faire son chiffre !
Bref nous ne relouerons plus de voiture chez Dollar ou Thrifty !
Je vous déconseille ce loueur de voiture !

The worst rent car company. Please do not rent a car from Dollar.

I made a payment through Amex travel but they charged me another $270 for upgrading the car. There wasn't the car I booked and they gave me an upgraded car for free. It is a scam!!!! The total I paid for the car is about $430. The website says $252.
The customer service was also horrible.
Not recommend here!

Minha experiência foi muito boa.
Fiz minha reserva com 10dias de antecedência, no dia que cheguei no aeroporto MCO fui muito bem recebido pelos funcionários que rapidamente me atenderam.
Tudo certo com minha reserva e entre 05 a 10min já estava com o carro, um Jeep compass 2025 com apenas 1900milhas, carro muito novo e estava totalmente limpo para me entregar.

Devolução:
Ao chegar no aeroporto para devolver o carro os funcionários super simpáticos e também fizeram todo o processo de devolução super rápido.
E referente ao bloqueio de $200 dólares que foi feito no meu cartão o mesmo foi cancelado em menos de 24hrs.
Nenhum problema ou dificuldade com a locadora.

Avoid at all costs. Service is terrible. Staff was unaware of AAA discount. Do not get the “Manager’s Special”. It is an electric car that needs to be charged for 2 hours. Note, you need 24 hours to upgrade the Manager’s Special to a gas car, and it’s double the price. Of course, staff did not update me on this until after my car was exchanged. I exchanged the upgraded gas car in order to get my AAA discount. They lost my rental car, so I was at the airport taking shuttles back and forth to the rental car/rental drop for 4 hours…. I rented this vehicle in between getting a new car, and this made the process 10x more stressful. They are still charging me for tolls for a car I had for a day, too….

The rental car was great, new car and no problems. Returning was an absolute nightmare. The signage for returns is wrong, in an attempt to find the correct location we got turned around and had to leave the parking structure entirely, adding an additional 15 minutes to the process. When I told a staff member that the signage was poor he said, "yea we get told that everyday". So leave yourself some time during the return process to ensure you're not late.

Took 1.5 hours to pickup car. Landed in Terminal C, waited in line only to find out that counter was closed. Had to make it across entire other airport terminals to get car. When picking up car, they changed which floor of garage cars were on but hadn’t updated signs, or numbers of car spaces. No one around to help.

Now I am trying to figure out if I will be able to drop off car in terminal C for an early flight or not and I cannot reach anyone who is able to give me that information. If you see this review, Dollar, please let me know if I can drop a car at Terminal C at 4am.

They also pulled the liability insurance scam with me—- which I tried to fight her on and explained that I didn’t want any insurance multiple times.

Very disappointed with service from Moe. Arrived at counter with reservation in hand after a long day of travel. Talked to Moe and was told that I did not have a reservation for today and they couldn't help me since it was unlikely that they had cars available . I was sure I did have a reservation for this day, but he passed me on to another agent who did her best to try to find a car for me despite the 'fact' that my reservation was not for this day. Fortunately I realized that the reservation date was printed on the reservation and it specifically said today's date, and I pointed this out to the new agent. She called Moe over. How did he handle it? He grunted and walked away in a totally unprofessional manner, never acknowledging me or admitting he was mistaken. He left the agent to sort out his mess. I will probably rent from Dollar again, but I will be particular about who helps me at the desk. If the other agent hadn't been so helpful, I would rate this as a one-star experience.

An all around horrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. When I paid at the counter I was told my total was $312 and the deposit would be added on top of that, and then they later on charged me an “underage fee” of $25/day without ever letting me know that existed. I was also charged an additional $300 in other random fees that were never mentioned. I paid for a mid size SUV and was given a Kia Sol. When I mentioned that they gave me a toyota camry instead. Front desk workers were rude, all around terrible experience. When we returned our rental car we were yelled at to hurry up and get all of our things out, since we were rushing I forgot my purse. Dollar refused to help me get it back and sent me to over 20 places to try to retrieve my purse, and by the time I actually got to someone who could help me they insisted they had no idea where the car was and they couldn’t do anything about it. Avoid this rental company at all costs. It was one problem after another my entire experience and it was so awful it really put us in a bad mood for a chunk of our vacation.
