In my experience with him going through the steps of buying a house, Doug exuded incredible patience, taking me through a large number of properties, considering pros and cons. He pointed out aspects related to design and structural workings that would be considerations with home ownership. He made the strongest, most reasonable effort negotiating from the buyer side. He even went above and beyond and was able to personally fix the kitchen drain of the place I was purchasing (the one significant defect caught from the home inspection).

I feel like I have gotten a place that in many ways is a bit of a dream for me, and I am thankful for Doug's help in getting me there.

Doug was the realtor for a house we put the offer on. The house had a major ventilation problem that most probably has mold. We wanted it fixed, but Doug said he could explain everything.

I spoke with Doug and he gave the worst explanation of HVAC systems I have ever heard of with his source being "physics" including key mistakes in very simple concepts. I asked him if he was sure about these concepts and boy was he! He even said he wished he had this system in his house right now!

I'm an engineer and I represent my company for ASHRAE, I spoke to 1 colleague who designs HVAC systems, and 3 HVAC technicians. All of these sources point to the ventilation system being a major issue. The system is not even allowed anymore.

Doug is the definition of a used car salesman! Will say anything to get you to buy, the truth is irrelevant. If he doesn't know something, he will just make it up!

If you're a seller, Doug's favourite strategy is to tell you he can sell your house for above market value. After a few months, you'll have to lower the price, but he doesn't care, he's already locked in as the realtor! Sweet profit for him!

There are a lot of Realtors out there, so don't risk your most expensive purchase on Doug.
