So I’ve been living in a dynasty builders home for almost a year now. I waited a while before writing a review just to see how everything went.

First off I’d like to say they make very nice looking homes with functional floor plans. That’s about where the positives end.

I’ve had a number of pretty big issues with my home since moving in. Granted they did fix these issues but it was only after much debate between myself and Blair and one call to the inspection company for a breach of building code.

When you first buy your home Blair will promise you the world to get you into the home. Afterwards he will start dodging your calls and not respond to texts. You will get “I’ll have guys there next week” for months and then they will show up out of the blue without a phone call or nothing.

Im at the 4 month mark since my 6 month warranty form was filled out and submitted. It took weeks before we even got a response that they received the form. I am still waiting for a number of items on that list to get fixed. Blair doesn’t get back to me.

Even my initial walk walk through list from almost a year ago isn’t complete yet. It’s getting pretty ridiculous.

I’ve attached a few pictures of the ice damming and literally water leaking down the side of my house in the middle of the winter that I had to “convince” Blair wasn’t normal and needs to be fixed. It’s seriously so frustrating because Blair should be on my side for these things it doesn’t cost him any money to have his subtrades come back and repair there bad workmanship.

Just want to share my experience since we bought out house in 2016’ Dynasty Builders has a really great job on building houses and etc. and the most important thing is they are really great in providing services helping all the repairs and maintenance of our home. They are very helpful and professional in dealing with problems. In this recent days we had our vent cleaned up from a regular vent contractor, and we had our dryer vent also cleaned because our dryer got broken due to clogged vent. But unfortunately when we had our new dryer it senses a 95% clogged and I called the vent cleaner I hired and he ask for additional fee. And I called “Blaire to ask if where is the outlet of our vent goes for the said vent contractor doesn’t know where to look and explained everything”, he then replied “if he will not do it then don’t you worry’ I am here to help you” and just like that. The next day ‘ Blaire sent his staff to go on the roof to look for the vent outlet and cleaned and fixed the problem. Just like that. And now we are worry free. My wife is so happy to dry our clothes with no worry that it might cause some more damage. Kudos to Dynasty Builders and especially to Blaire and his buddy Rob. Thank you 🙏 and more power to you guys. And one more important thing they fixed the vent for “FREE”. Me and my family Highly recommend Dynasty Builders.

My experience with Dynasty homes has been great. Especially with Blair! We moved into our brand new Dynasty home august of 2020. This was a spec home in Erin ridge. Blair was friendly professional and responsive. We didn’t have many issues with our home but when we did Blair was always there to help. Nothing is built perfect, but the customer service received from Dynasty and Blair has been second to none. I would definitely purchase another home from them! Thanks for everything Dynasty team!

My wife and I had to relocate from Ontario to Alberta for work and had one week to find a home in Morinville. Unfortunately there was a limited supply of homes on the market at the time so after an unsuccessful bid on a home we decided to call Dynasty to discuss the possibility of building a new hone. We met with Blair Carmichael the next morning and decided to go ahead with a new build. Blair arranged all of the meetings allowing my wife and I to make all of our selections over the course of the next three days.

As things progressed, we decided on various upgrades and customization which Blair facilitated for us. I was worried about the cost surpassing our budget but he never tried to nickel and dime us; much of the customization was done at no additional cost, while any upgrade costs were very reasonable.

Additionally, we needed to take possession by the end of October as we were expecting a newborn by mid-November; Blair assured us that he would have us in our new home before the baby came and he kept his word.

All of the suppliers were great to deal with, the home looks great; far surpassing our expectations. Most importantly, the customer service provided by Blair was second to none. There is something to be said about a company that returns your phone calls, text messages and emails in a timely manner, no matter the time of day. The entire process was much easier than we had anticipated, I would highly recommend Dynasty to anyone building a home in the area.

Dynasty Builders is a family run business that stands out from the rest. Their attention to detail and workmanship is above other builders that we looked into. Making sure you have all the modern comforts in a new home at an affordable price will put your mind at ease.
We were on somewhat of a time crunch when we came to Morinville from Ontario. With only about 8 days to look and purchase a home before flying back. We fell in love with the town and knew Dynasty Builders was the right choice for us.
Construction manager Blair Carmichael, has been more than accommodating with us. He was quick to respond if we had any sort of issue big or small. He always made sure that we were happy and satisfied with the outcome. Sometimes he would even stop by if he was in the area to say hi and make sure we didn't have any issues or concerns.
We are more than happy with our home and we can't say enough about how professional this company and its staff have been to us. They have truly gone above and beyond to make us happy.

We moved here from Winnipeg and I had no clue I had a new home warranty until my neighbor explained it. When we bought we had an inspection and sure enough some deficiencies found (understandable when the home was built in the midst of Covid in 2020). Not to worry though, The after the fact service from Dynasty and Blair C. in particular has been impressive. When most builders could give you the runaround (especially as a subsequent buyer) this firm stands behind what they built. They have fixed the few minor defects in short order and employ impressive tradespeople as I have had multiple independent trades of theirs back to fix things. Best part is I am now finishing the basement myself and wanted to buy similar materials and was easily given contact information for the original vendors to make things match and if I need help I would call any of their trades in a hearbeat. Seriously their after sales service is Impressive!! I would use Dynasty if I was ever going to build homes. As another note...as my neighbors across the street see trades coming and going this past year fixing minor stuff here and there their builder (not dynasty) is still giving them the after sales service runarounds for bathroom issues. Thank god I did not unknowingly buy from that builder. 🙂
