Disappointed with the lack of EV charging facilities at these rental units. A few of my friends who rent here recently had a really upsetting experience. Since there are no dedicated EV charging options, they were using a visitor parking spot to charge their car—something they had prior written approval for via email.

Despite this, the council board members called a towing company and had their car towed, leaving them with a hefty $550 bill. When they tried to resolve the issue, they were met with an unhelpful and dismissive response: “Do whatever you want.” This kind of treatment feels unfair and unreasonable, especially when the residents are trying to adapt to greener transportation choices and following written guidelines.

It’s frustrating to see renters being penalized instead of supported. Better communication, clear rules, and proper EV infrastructure are desperately needed here. We were thinking about moving here and definitely will not be our option anymore.

If you are even thinking of dealing with Pacific Quorum, do yourself a favor and run the other way.

This is hands down the worst strata I have ever dealt with, and I have lived in multiple condos. My experience with them has been so frustrating I would rather live in a tent.

First, I tried to book the community room for my daughter’s birthday. Simple, right? Wrong. I called, emailed, basically begged, and got zero response for days. By the time they finally replied (probably after a long nap), the room was magically already booked. It genuinely felt like they did not want us using it.

Then comes the masterpiece. I parked in visitor parking to charge my car, not host a rave, just charge my car. Next thing I know, my car is gone. Towed. And I am slapped with a 600 dollar bill like it is some kind of punishment for being environmentally conscious. No warning, no notice. And just to be clear, we have a written email from Jamal, the previous property manager, stating we are allowed to charge there. That did not matter.

Oh, and let us not forget the building itself. It is falling apart faster than the council’s decision making. So many issues, so little action. These people could not manage a Lego set, let alone a residential building.

Now let us talk about the council. One of the council members has been consistently rude and dismissive. It felt like she was more interested in power than in actually helping residents. If eye rolls could kill, half the building would be gone. She acts like she is running for office, but no one is lining up to vote. If you are renting here, brace yourself. If you are an owner, may the resale gods be with you.

Bottom line: If the name Pacific Quorum shows up anywhere in your life—on a contract, brochure, or building sign—do yourself a favor and stay far away. Renters beware. Owners beware. Even goldfish should beware.
