From day one, their team came across as thoughtful, thorough, and just genuinely kind people. From last year ongoing while visiting Saskatoon very often from Toronto , I had been preparing to purchase a home in Saskatoon. Looking at all houses from different builders like “North Prairie”, “North Ridge” etc, we came across one from Ehrenburg, we instantly loved the layout. Ehrenburg convinced us of their quality and we bought our first new build house with them.
Ehrenburg truly met all our expectations in quality, and development concept plans. Their expertise in home building was exactly what we were looking for and their customer services was second to none. Ehrenburg built us our dream family walk-out home and we worked with Bonnie from start to finish, discussing every detail as thoroughly as we’d like throughout the entire process. Bonnie is amazing and exceptional when communication with her is instantaneous. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with her help. She was extremely helpful and very detailed with information when asked about any questions. Something else worth mentioning is the service and follow up... again outstanding with Ehrenburg. The customer service and warranty has gone so downhill. This company deserves to be at the bottom of the list. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They ignore any issues as soon as you take possession. I had a leak for a WEEK and had to track down a guy on FACEBOOK because no one responded. My cup boards are ruined. Still don’t have garage stairs and I moved in May 29. They didn’t do the final grading before putting the deck up so it’s chunks of clay and uneven ground with pockets for water to collect. My wall is 2 different colours, my pipes knock, my ac makes a loud bang when it shuts off and an air return pipe isn’t connected. They don’t care. They also use C level contractors they find off Kijiji just to get the job done. My deck stairs have giant nails sticking out the sides and I have kids. They brought new stairs and just put them on my grass 2 WEEKS AGO. I moved them off obviously because it would kill my grass. They were so great in 2019 and now they’ve over extended themselves and the entire block is unsatisfied and will be making BBB complaints. There are so many things other than these they won’t respond about but these are just the tip of the iceberg. I urge you to go with another builder

Very disappointed with the after-sale service. We purchased our home in October 2024 and have had a few issues, including problems with the kitchen door and noticeable vibrations in the living area.

We contacted Jenn about this over two months ago, but unfortunately, there has been no follow-up or resolution since then. The lack of communication has been frustrating.

In comparison, we’ve heard much better feedback about other builders when it comes to service and responsiveness. We expected better from Ehrenburg Homes.

Thank you for your response. I truly appreciate the support provided so far, including the upcoming pantry door fix and the courtesy on the garage door. However, I’d like to clarify the main reason for my review, which still remains unresolved — the communication delays, especially from your customer care manager, Jenn.

Despite multiple follow-ups over the past few months, I didn’t receive a response until I had to escalate by including Conrad from your office. This delay of nearly two months before getting any reply was very frustrating, and unfortunately, this has happened more than once.

Regarding the vibration issue, I want to mention that during Darius’s first visit, he did observe the vibration when turning on the hot water. However, the follow-up visits were months later — after we had already begun basement work, which could have reduced the effect. This delay makes it feel like the issue wasn't addressed in a timely manner.

Again, I do appreciate the work your team is doing now, but I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and improve communication going forward — especially for homeowners who are genuinely trying to work through issues with patience and understanding.
