One of the biggest challenges for people selling their homes-- the homes that they love and have made memories in over the years-- is coming up with the approach to get the best price the market can offer with the least amount quibbling after the offer. We also had a time crunch to purchase another property, so the fewest conditions in the shortest amount of time were also factors. For our part, we knew that our house needed repairs and rolled up our sleeves to dig in to what needed to be done-- not just cosmetics. There is a point of diminishing returns and this is where we enlisted Christa's help: what are the things that are most important to buyers and what things can be left undone and not be daunting to new buyers? We knew the big stuff, but what of the little stuff?

Christa was referred to us from a friend we trusted. In our first meeting she came prepared with a preliminary assessment of the area and of possible comparable properties, not having seen ours. At that point we had some of the clean up started, but we all knew we were a long way from market ready. Knowing our task, Christa would check in on our progress and worked with us to schedule what we needed to have ready to make the deadlines we needed to get to market. Giving us a couple extra days, being able to reschedule the photos made a huge difference-- for all of us.

The sales materials worked for the listing. The photos, write up and video highlighted the special aspects of the home and appealed to target market for this style of house.

The most important aspect of working with a real estate agent is finding that right price point to find buyers for your house. We feel that Christa put us in the ballpark. We received offers within the first couple days of showings and ultimately closed all conditions within 10 days.

Finally, Christa is pretty-hands on. When we were down to the wire, she rolled up her sleeves to help us to get the house show-ready.

We had a pretty tall order: a quick sale with an equally quick closing date-- for a price that warrants the time and money we put into fixing/renovating the property. In the end, we achieved all of that.

Christa has been so wonderful to work with! Excellent knowledge of the area, process and very helpful in chosing a house with value you can add to it. There are a lot of options out there for agents you can work with in the valley and I cant see there being anyone better then her!! Highly recommended !
