Absolutely unacceptable experience.

My basement has been flooding repeatedly for over a year, and despite numerous attempts to get help, I’ve been ignored, dismissed, and told it’s somehow my responsibility—when it clearly falls under common element maintenance.

The property manager is almost never available, constantly on vacation, and when I do manage to reach someone, I’m met with apathy and finger-pointing. No accountability, no urgency, and certainly no support for owners dealing with ongoing damage to their homes.

This level of mismanagement is beyond frustrating—it’s negligent. If you’re considering buying or renting in a building managed by this company, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

So im Brandy may and I lived at 276-100 Brownleigh welland ontario and for 6 years and all I can say is that after 2 years still nothing done to unit all pictures for from what it still looks like but wrost and give us paper N12 and lied its same owner from 2016 to present they lie and refuse to do the work two year and nothing but all black mold is so bad and their Property manger should be fired for what he put us though they should be a shamed of company i hope the courts fine them big time pls share and show my pictures

I have lived in one of their townhouse complexes for over 10 years. It's sad to say this company does not have the well being of their tenants in mind at all.

Yes they are very good at working with you when they need something but there is no emergency line. The landlord never answers the phone and the company is impossible to reach.

I have been dealing with a bee nest in my basement for 2 days now and I haven't heard back from anyone after countless calls and voicemails.

Seeing as this is a safety emergency, there are more than 50 bees in my basement right now.. I still have not heard back from anyone.

I hope this company starts to put their tenants well being up top of the list.

No communication. Apparently we got a new property manager, no one informed us, so I had no idea who to contact. Emailed and called contact info on website, no replies. Maintance requests say they will respond in 2-3 business days...the last 2 times Ive waited weeks and had to keep reaching out to them. 2 years in a row they have tried to make me pay air conditioner fees, when I didnt even have any ACs in my windows. They want to keep jacking rent each year without fixing things. Would not recommend renting with this company.

When I first started to rent with them, I looked at the reviews and got scared. But they seemed like good people. I’m glad I gave them a chance because they were amazingly helpful, very flexible and very responsive. My neighbor and I have really had a great experience with them. And everyone in our building is satisfied. I had just moved to Canada when they helped me and were very flexible with my situation. They were always nice and responsive. All year long. I definitely recommend renting with them!

Management within this company is the worst I've ever experienced. Issues are not addressed, and they find the cheap way out for everything - for example, they do not have superintendents or anyone in charge to reach out to. Their manager is horrendously rude to paying tenants, and even gives attitude when presented with genuine safety concerns. The customer service line is useless, and their manager throws them under the bus at every given chance. Terrible people, terrible company, save yourself the trouble.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. EQB highrise has been the absolute worst Property Management group to deal with and I will not be using them again. Besides the non renovated apartments for over $2,000 a month that are falling apart and are extremely filthy. There is absolutely ZERO building management. No super, no maintenance, building is old and filthy, elevator is from the 50s and constantly is out of service, same with washers. You can call customer service all you want, but no one will call you back or fix any issues you have.

They are a terrible property management group and the people they've employed to show face around here every now and again are also pretty terrible.

Beware!!! When you are an investor with EQB, selling your property is extremely difficult. There are all kinds of unplanned costs/expenses that one does not anticipate due to fact that you no longer belong to that investment pool.
The process is extremely painful!
