I would like to give a big Thank You to Bhargav, who services the Vancouver Adera House. He always greets people with a big smile and responds to residents' requests immediately. Last month, my unit had a water leak, and when I texted Bhargav, he replied instantly, telling me how to handle the situation. He also arrived at my unit within two minutes to check it personally and then immediately went upstairs to find the cause. The next day, he followed up on my unit's condition and reported it to his manager. I find Bhargav to be very professional and experienced in handling emergencies, and most importantly, he is very responsible. I’m glad Adera House has someone like him. Bhargav watches over the building like a family member, and his professional appearance every day reflects his love and dedication to his job. Bhargav is 100 out of 100!

One of the worst strata management companies out there. They simply do not respond to issues, full stop. I had problems with my unit. Called in many times and was told I'd receive a call back. It never happened. Contacted my "manager" directly via email, he said he'd send someone over. He never did. First Service just gives you the runaround until you give up. Never, ever use this company for anything. They're terrible.

I received excellent instruction and support from Kelsey to solve a problem that I have encountered since the implementation of the community websites. I was only been able to access one of the more than one websites for years. I have managed to depend on some building and strata managers for strata related information until the support stopped yesterday. With Kelsey's help, I have access to other FSR community websites. FirstService manages the building where I'm renting a condo with my partner. One day, the concierge made a programming error in their FOB system, resulting in us losing access to all doors in the building, including to our home and car. I called their emergency line and they refused to do anything about it for 12 hours (overnight). They also refused to put me in touch with a strata council member, who could have let me in. We eventually got in to our unit by following a neighbour inside. I never got a follow-up from this company, let alone an apology. I ended up attending a strata meeting in person to to ask that a policy be put in place to handle similar situations - strata council was very apologetic at that meeting, a stark contrast to the dismissive attitude of the strata manager (who I imagine was planning to bury my complaint). Why didn't FirstService have a procedure in place for FOB failures? Nobody knows. This company only cares about money, not people. Beware
