Absolutely bad experience at this location. Rude employees and mangage( a teenager claimed to be the manager) waited for a long, long time for a coffee, and finally, one of the employees brought a coffee that was almost cold....after requesting for a fresh one it appeared that they warmed up my old cup and gave it back to me. Awful experience!

Great staff but is held back by the stores limited selection. When this Foodland was in the smaller location I was able to accept that they would be missing some products due to the limited shelf space. Unfortunately even after the new location has been open for a while the fresh produce section lacks a lot of pepper types. I spend a good amount of my time talking to the staff about how whole categories of products are missing. There has been multiple times I've wanted to make my own sauces but were unable to due to lack of fresh produce so I try to buy canned or packaged sauce to find out this location doesn't have such sauces.

Tldr; This location has great staff but very limited selection along with relatively high prices compared to locations outside of Lucan.

Great staff and management. The owner seems to always show real concern that everyone is happy. The new location is great. Very clean, always smiling and helpful staff and parking is so much easier now.
Many thanks to the owners and employees of Lucan's Foodland. Prices are about London's average without the trip. Let's all be thankful it's not Loblaws. ?

Foodland gets a five-star rating from me! They're incredibly understanding and welcoming, even when my dog gets a little vocal. Whether it's a few excited barks or some anxious whining, the staff never makes me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. It's a relief to know I can shop for groceries without worrying about my dog's behaviour. Their patience and kindness make all the difference, and it's why I'll always choose Foodland! My dog is going through service dog training he is just a husky so he likes to bark when he gets excited and he is vocal a lot of the times.

It's a small quaint store. It carries everything that you would be looking for. Prices are higher than other grocery stores as most Foodland stores are.

Lots of parking and staff were extremely friendly when trying to find different products and at checkout.

You can collect airmiles as well.

I am at a loss when a business spends money on a relocation in a new building and they can't get any of it right. This store has zero selection unless of course, you are looking for their own brand. It's always good to support local but with zero selection, and way too high prices, I will be going elsewhere. They do not know how to merchandise their products. If you visit their beverage section, there is no Coke. Yup, a grocery store that doesn't carry Coke, but look, there is a huge display of Coke at the other corner of the store, but none in the pop section. Not impressed at all. Terrible selection and too high pricing...no thanks.

The old building they had was right nearby the Jake’s House Community Residences and it was very convienent. Worthy of 5 stars from me.

But now they relocated all the way over to the other side of Lucan, which is just a massive slap in the face for everyone who relied on the old Foodland's location for groceries, as well as anyone in Lucan who dosen't have a vehicle to get there.

I don't care if the building is "better", the old building worked just fine as is, and this very building's existence is a very anti-consumerism.
