Fraser Elliott Group/ The Firm did what two other realtors could not. They sold our home during the worst possible conditions in BC and across Canada. My wife and I found their team focused, intelligent, motivated and professional.
We definitely recommend people who provide the success that they in fact did.

COMPLETE FRAUD. A realtor from this team fraudulently dated our contract. My immigrant parents trusted this team with their most valuable asset, they were in tears when they learned that the team tried to commit fraud. What happened was, my parents agreed to list our house on sale for 3 months only. They made sure that they can list with whoever after those 3 months were over, given that Fraser Elliot could not sell the home. When the 3 months were over and our house didn't sell, we told the realtors that we are not interested in extending our listing. The realtor said something along the lines of " the contract isn't up until another 3 months, check your contract". I was speaking on behalf of my parents and knew all the contract details. I was shocked to hear this. I quickly looked the document I had at home, only to realize that there was no date written on the contract. I realized that because a contract is very long and you have to sign multiple places, this team tricked my parents. We didn't have a complete copy of the contract at home, only Fraser Elliot had it. Basically, what they did was they handed my parents a document without an end date and only their initials (meaning the initials hold no value). The contract that Fraser Elliot had listed the date to be more another 3 months. I think this realtor probably tried this with others. He saw my immigrants parents as an opportunity to exploit. He was hoping we would think, "well we already signed the contract so let's just wait 3 more months" and then he can get away with it. But if we threaten to complain then he will just back off and try to brush it off as a mistake. I called REMAX and threatened to complain to the real estate board. At first the realtor he tried to say we agreed to 6 months, but he quickly realized that he would get in serious trouble and possibly lose his license because of this. I was so shocked at this predatory behavior and cried on the phone when he finally agreed it was his fault. He then came to my home and profusely apologized and ended the contract. I was so afraid to file a complaint after seeing what they almost got away with. I am still considering it. Don't go for realtors with good branding, really do your research and ask around. I also wanted to note that at this time, I will not be sharing the exact agents name.
