Very small. Doesn't carry majority of items one can get at other freshco locations.

They have so many cash lines open but are forcing people to use the self check out! My photo attached shows how there is 1 line open for cashing out ON A LONG WEEKEND SATURDAY! UNACCEPTABLE!

RESIST!!! RESIST!!!
MAKE THE LINES SO LONG THEY ARE FORCED TO OPEN MORE REGISTERS.

I also include how much I pay for groceries at this store, which a week later I go back & they inflated their prices. This is not affordable what so ever. The most expensive things I bought here were bacon, milk, distilled waters (12) & bread. Yet look at the cost of my bill.

I went back 1 week later to buy the same items I always buy. Price increase. How is cheese on sale $9.00 This is robbery.

Freshco needs to do better & be different. Instead of inflating prices like the Trudeau government is doing, make things cheaper & you will get more influx of shoppers, more business. You'll then have to force the other stores to be reasonable & make the cost of living for Canadians AFFORDABLE.

If you buy a clearance item (they have a specific sticker on them) you really need to babysit their cashiers otherwise you'll end up paying full price. You also can't just use self checkout if you have a clearance item.

It's absurd. You'll literally get better service at Walmart.

I was disappointed by the prices, Safeway seems to have better sales (as I imagine Sobeys does as well). Ground beef was in weirdly small packages for $7. I ended up buying ground beef cheaper from Safeway that same day. Speaking of the meat, I would avoid it, some of it appears not to have been properly refrigerated.

That with the condition of the produce, I think 'fresh' co. os a bit of a misnomer.

I don't know who this store is targeted at. They don't have especially large packages for economies of scale, and they don't have anything particularly distinct from Sobeys and Safeway.

In my opinion they are the best store in okotoks for updating clearance prices (sale stickers) and have great staples that I only buy there.

This is the weirdest grocery store I’ve ever been to. Let’s start with the name. The meat is anything but fresh, with discount stickers all over the strange brands of meat you don’t find at other grocery stores. It feels like a liquidation world for meat. Don’t know about you, but that’s not the vibe I like in my meat department.

Carrying on, right next to the discounted Polish or Ukrainian candy you will find fancy high-grade salmon roe discounted 30% off.

I wish I had time to retell some of the other oddities I encountered at this store. I won’t be returning. And I recommend you don’t either, except to kill time and wonder how a new store opened in 2024 could miss the mark so poorly.

This store is a well laid out and super budget friendly store. I'm not sure where the other reviewers went but it was not here or maybe they just don't know their grocery pricing. The pricing here is easy on the wallet, especially with the flyers. You can get a 200g bag of compliments chips for $1.50. Other places are $3-4 for the exact same thing. Their regular prices on items are the sale prices at other grocery store. I highly recommend this store and anyone who says the pricing is high is either a troll or a competitor.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. The prices are comparable to No Frills and Walmart, sometimes better. This morning I picked up tomatoes for $0.99/lb - what a steal! I find the selection and quality is significantly better than No Frills and Walmart. I'll be shopping here for now on.

Although Fresh Co in Okotoks promotes itself as a 'cheaper' grocery option, I've found that their prices are still relatively high compared to other stores in the area. Despite being a new addition, the grocery prices here haven't reflected the promised affordability. While the store offers a decent selection and is convenient, the high prices make it challenging to fully embrace as a budget-friendly option. Hopefully, they'll adjust their pricing strategy to truly live up to their 'cheaper' label in the future.
