After dealing with well over 10 different condo management companies this has been the worst one. I've owned units in 2 buildings they manage and both have been very difficult to deal with. Responses are very untimely and typically require multiple follow ups, they overcharged me for several months on condo fees and it took a month of back and forth to get it sorted out. They don't know much about the buildings they deal with and charged me for parking for a stall I own and insisted I had to pay. Getting condo documents is a challenge. Instead of sending them out regularly to owners or putting them in the portal like other management companies do, they make you pay for them. Extremely disappointed with the service.

From a Realtor standpoint GoSmart is exceptionally great when it comes to communication. When helping a client with a sale it was incredibly easy to get ahold of someone and get the information needed to facilitate the sale. I've been told they have a new owner which can only be a postive thing. My experience with Go Smart has been mixed but I feel like they are making slow improvement. Their new receptionist is a pleasure and takes the time to help, Simona and Marel are are doing a great job managing our condo complex. Communication and action from the accounting department is easy. The afterhours service is okay, but hopefully they will get that sorted out as they go. Overall, I'm pleased with how things are going right now. I will edit or update this if my experience changes over time.

I tried very hard, but still Go Smart just cannot perform as a property manager. Part of a PM's duty is to help maintain board function. To ensure bylaw application. Go Smart isn't capable of that, and it has been extremely damaging to us as owners since our purchase in a Go Smart "managed" community. As much as I tried to help, they just can't manage.

Update: Go Smart knows exactly the issue now, and also those that preceded. Re-branding will not change anything. Nothing against the individual people, but the sum as a company is very troubling. I would never buy in a Go Smart community again, their impact of governance and maintenance is too damaging.

Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism of Go Smart. Despite numerous follow-up emails, Go Smart has been entirely unresponsive and ineffective at resolving issues relating to bylaw violations. There is a lack of enforcement of bylaws, allowing people to continually break condo rules without any consequence.

After reporting several violations with no action taken by Go Smart, the property manager suggested that I confront the violators myself. As a tenant, I have no authority to enforce bylaws, and it's entirely unacceptable to be advised to put myself in an unsafe situation by starting a confrontation. This is not how property management should operate, and it reflects a serious lack of professionalism and responsibility.

I would not recommend Go Smart to anyone seeking a responsive, reliable and safe property management company

We purchased a condo in one of the Go Smart managed buildings. It is a six storey building with one elevator. We were aware that the elevator was being upgraded and were happy with the initial project length. We were told it would be 5-6 weeks. It is now in the 11th week and the tenants have not been updated on the actual date it will now be complete. We have just been told that an appointment will be set up with AEDARSA. After emailing Marivic Solis, we receive noncommittal answers, that is to say when she bothers to respond. Direct questions are not addressed. I am not sure if she is just an awful person with no empathy or is she being told to act this way by management. Either way, we regret purchasing our home in this building.

This company is an absolute disaster. Over the years I've had the unfortunate experience of having to interact with their representatives. The fact that my Condo Board attempts to implement shady, and sometimes downright illegal, practices is one thing. But GO SMART Property Managers can't even find the time to review or reject policies put forth by the Board is incredibly telling. Why is my responsibility to point out the flaws, speak with lawyers, and look up by-laws when something isn't right? What exactly does GO SMART Property Managers do besides collect money from the properties they supposedly "manage"?
