Claire and Dave have an incredibly detailed knowledge of real estate in Dufferin County & beyond, and they’re fantastic people to deal with. We began looking for a home in Mulmur back in 2021 and finally made our purchase in 2024. Over this time, Claire kept our listing portal open, which allowed us to monitor opportunities for the home-style, land size, and location/accessibility characteristics we were looking for. Whenever a listing came up with the range of parameters we found attractive - Claire would bring it to our attention by email or text and provide additional information/context on the listing. Her judgement on which properties might fit our lifestyle was excellent. Claire always sent relevant opportunities that fit our criteria - never too many or too few. It was clear that she understood what we wanted and cared about finding the right fit. Whenever an opportunity was particularly interesting, Claire was always available to talk through the details, discuss the practical viability of each property for our family, and give us an on-site tour if we wanted to take the next step.

Claire and Dave were especially helpful with our closing process. They provided us with valuable insight and advice on how the process works, and how to protect ourselves: from teaching us how to ensure our home’s critical systems were in good working order (i.e. asking the seller for certificates of septic and chimney clean-out), to recommending a local electrician to change our light fixtures upon move-in, to giving advice on which internet service providers had the best speeds in our new neighbourhood - Claire was continuously helpful in all areas of our home search and purchase process.

Claire and Dave went above and beyond in our final transaction process. Our final walk-through was seamless and Claire coordinated diligently with our lawyer and mortgage lender to facilitate the transfer of property and hand-off the keys. It gave us peace of mind to know we were in such good hands.

We highly recommend using Claire and Dave for your home search, particularly so if you’re from Toronto (or out of town) like we were. It's so important to work with people who understand the local real estate environment, market trends, and the local community too. It's even more important to work with people who keep your interests as their interests, who genuinely care that you are comfortable and satisfied with your new home, and who also care about facilitating a pleasant and organized process along the way. Claire and Dave know what they’re talking about, they’re responsive, helpful, and most importantly - they’re just lovely people to deal with.
