We relocated from Alberta, and were unfamiliar with BC real estate. Grace was knowledgeable, personable, and helped us navigate the challenging Nanaimo area real estate market. It took over 6 months for us to find a home in our budget in this market.

During that time, we enjoyed viewing homes with her and never felt pressured to purchase anything. She truly cared about us and kept reassuring us that this is a huge financial decision and that she wants us to be happy. And boy, did we have to see a number of homes. Coming from Alberta, who knew that sidewalks, furnaces, and basements were a luxury? Or that there’s potentially oil tanks buried under the ground? Or that there’s a land transfer tax and other taxes to consider when purchasing a home?

During that time she provided advice on what areas are desirable, and what to look for inside homes (i.e. polyb plumbing).
She looked out for us through every step of the buying process! Even booked us a home inspection, provided recommendations for trades, and helped us find a home insurance broker and lawyer.
