I had the extreme pleasure of working with Marcel and his fantastic team. I am an older gentleman who has lived in my home for the past 25 years and loved every minute. As I said I am older and pretty set in my ways and thinking, but I did realize that you have to downsize at some point and move on.
I have all my children and grandchildren in the Oshawa area and decided that was the area I needed to relocate to.
Marcel came out for the first visit to see my home. He was very pleasant, understanding of my situation, and great at keeping things light with his sense of humour.
On his second visit he got more down to business, still keeping things light, and happily for me he recommended a list price higher than the price we had discussed at our first meeting.
He made some recommendations and came back with his lovely wife, Angela, for a third visit and final recommendations before the photos were to be taken. Great input from the both of them.
The photographer came out, very professional and did an amazing job.
The house was on the market and sold in just 6 days, and over asking. Absolutely amazing!!
Now that he has sold our home he asked if we wanted his help on the purchase of our new home. I thought that was probably too far for him to travel, as we are looking to go to Oshawa. He said that that was not a problem and he would be happy to go and help us to get someplace to start our next chapter in life. The distance was not a problem.
He made several trips with us to Oshawa and took us through many condos.
What I find amazing is that he will give his opinion, while saying that of course the choice is still ours. He highlighted the positive and negative of all places seen.
Being older and a little set in what I want, he worked very gently to help me choose a place and negotiated a great deal for the new place.
I recommend him 1000%. You won’t find anyone out there better.
P.S. by the way the visits to his office were amazing. We even got to meet Ember, his dog, and that was a plus plus, she is adorable.
