The worst place to rent a car from. I reserved a car two weeks before I was supposed to pick it up. When I arrived to pick up the car they said they don’t have any cars available!! And they didn’t let me know ahead of time. The “manager” didn’t even care and she was eating and drinking while us waiting for a resolution for our situation. This is the second time they do this to me!! I decided to give a second chance but I know for the fact now that this place doesn’t deserve a second chance!!

I am writing to express my deep frustration with your rental location. Two weeks ago, I reserved a van in advance, yet when I arrived to pick it up, I was told that there were no available vehicles. This is the second time this particular location has failed to honor my reservation.

What is especially concerning is that this issue is not related to any extraordinary circumstances, such as the recent hurricane, but seems to be a recurring problem with this branch. Such unreliability is unacceptable, especially when I have planned and booked ahead.

I expect a prompt explanation of how you intend to rectify this situation as my plans were canceled due to Hertz

Made a reservation at 1:26AM on a Friday. It was confirmed via email and text message. Received a message 13 hours later - at 2:25pm the same day - indicating that my reservation had been cancelled. Called Customer Service immediately and was informed that it had been cancelled "online" (while I was away from my computer/phone), but they were able to reinstate my reservation. Continued to check that my reservation was "confirmed" throughout the rest of the day/weekend. 25 minutes before pickup on Monday, received a text "contacting [me] about [my] reservation". No details. I waited until they opened, called, and insisted on being transferred to the local office -- despite making the reservation during business hours (M-F) and reinstating the reservation with Customer Service, the local office did not have ANY cars to rent to me. I'm glad I didn't spend $40 to Uber to their location before receiving their text/talking to them on the phone and frustrated that I was able to make a reservation only to have it cancelled without any advance, personal contact. LESSON: When possible, book rental cars at an airport where multiple vendors exist.

I will never rent from Hertz again! I made a reservation for this location, 2 months in advance. Received several emails confirming and reminding me of my reservation. When the day came, took an Uber from hotel ($40 cost) to this location only to find it closed on Saturday. I called Hertz, customer service was USLESS! Their suggestion to my situation: go to the airport and try to rent a car from there. I need to add this location is in a sketchy part of town! Twice I was approached by homeless men asking me for $ or drugs. I never felt safe! After asking for a manager, I was hung up on. I called back and was told, I'd be given a refund but there was nothing they would do to help me get a new car. Luckily for me Enterprise was down the street and was more then willing to help me. They even offered to pick me up ASAP and stayed on the phone with me until I was picked up: so I was not alone & stranded with strung out people around me. I will make sure my company, friends and family all know my experience with Hertz and will NEVER use them for any rentals in the future.

Booked a compact however got called saying they had a pickup truck they could give me for free. However still got charged an upgrade fee. Didn't bother wasn't worth fighting with the employee as was in a rush after dropping back off. Just be careful with promises not being delivered. Otherwise staff and truck was very nice.

I reserved a car online only for my reservation to be canceled because they do not guarantee same day rentals. If this is the case then your system should not allow you to complete your reservation. This is customer dissatisfaction at it's finest. This can easily be resolved just don't allow same day reservations.

Inhumane,calculating and abuse to her position of whoever she chooses. Everything was an issue an an inconvenience for me . I told her i pay the 50 dollars retainer and she say was not showing as paid , I call my bank put the bank person and she confirmed a $50 dollar charge to Hetz .She was still not satisfied so I open my bank statement to show her and she didn’t even look at it and still demanded the $50 . At this point I was confused of her behavior hurt that that’s happening to me and just very confused so I pay the $50 .we just returned another rental from them wish Chris was our helper and he was wonderful! .
At the time of the switch the car she ask me for the keys so i handed to her I was worried because she didn’t give me enough time to get all my things out . Plus she did not allow me to go to the gas station to fill up the gas so you know they are charging me a lot more for gas . I need a suv that can fit 6 people and she said she had none but All the parking lot was full of them . Know I’m up set that when I start questioning up her why is she so upset with me if I did anything to her and i didn’t remember she just laughed.she told me the only thing she have is a 5 passenger suv and she make the most disgusting remarks how big can my kids be . I’m not a big fan of argument i usually just hold all in and the ask God why . So at the 5 minute she allowed me I started to think i should no give them my business so I call all the hardships around and as soon I give my name they all change and said they don’t have any. There were one call Tyler who actually confirmed she Racine a call and my hertz privilege are closed and he hang up the phone . I was so upset I came in and ask her why she closed my right she said because you refuse to sing something that she have not even mentioned to me and I have no I idea what she was talking about. She said I’m not allowed to use hertz ever again. And leave my in the street with no cat . This is all true as much ridiculous it sound and God is my witness.

Went here because I had to take my car to a nearby body shop for insurance this was the location that was closest. When I entered nobody was inside, Inhad to wait a minute since it seemed they came from outside but did not bother me. The service was good and did awnser my questions. Since I was going through insurance I really didnt care what car I got but I didn't get to choose, but I wont complain since I got a 2018 Dodge Challenger R/T. The only thing is the driver seat was dirty but it's from all the people before me driving it that don't care. I'm liking it so far and like how somebody picked me up and dropped me off at the location.

This review can change since i still need to drop this car off. Until than it will remain like this.
