My girlfriend and I bought a home out of town and needed an inspection quickly due to our condition date being close by. I had read some reviews that Sean was detailed at his work and feel fortunate that he was able to accommodate us in the short term.

He really digs into things that catch his attention and provides recommendations that are realistic. His walkthrough was professional, detailed and made us feel comfortable about what we're getting into. He's a very nice guy and we appreciated his demeanour. Highly recommend him.

We felt Sean with Highlands, was the best equipped with credentials. His detailed digital report was provided within 24 hrs. We used Yelp search filters to filter down to the top which Highlands placed in, and requested quotes from 3. Thorough and insightful. We hired Sean after we had made the purchase but before possession of our new build, a VicWest duplex. Sean was available on short notice for a couple of hours during the deficiencies walk-through. My wife, our realtor and I found ~35 small/medium issues to discuss with seller. Sean found 20+ more, all quite significant. Great report: quick turn around. Strongly recommended.

Sean was an incredible help for us with a real estate inspection for our potential new home. His attention to detail was incredible with pictures of everything that needed repairs or any sort of attention, and he sat down with us afterwards to walk through the entire report. As an added bonus, he's also WETT certified so was able to inspect both wood burning structures with the same detail and care with which he conducted our home inspection. He provided a completely detailed report of all inspections later in the evening on the same day of the inspection, which was wonderful turnaround for us. As an added bonus, he even gave suggestions about how to fix certain issues and who to contact to fix others that require a bit more work.

I also want to point out how professional and punctual Sean was. Our conditions needed to be lifted within a short time frame, and even with that he made time within 2 days of me calling him to come and provide his services. His prices are also incredibly reasonable and are easily competitive in this market. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire him again for another inspection in the future, and I'd certainly recommend him to anyone!

We were very happy, having Sean inspect our mobile home purchase. Aside from the cool gadgets that found things in the ceiling, the free usb stick and email of full report, my best experience was when I phoned I always got a real person and not a answering service. (I called him a few times) Very nice guy, very thorough...

Sean was punctual and professional. Upon arrival and some quick paperwork, he immediately started his inspection of the house. Sean was diligent and efficient and has a keen eye for detail. After the completion of his inspection, we sat together and went over his findings. Sean answered questions and concerns we had and provided us with a USB stick (see photo) containing all of the photos he had taken with his DSLR camera. Sean was timely in submitting his final inspection report to us the following morning. The report was a clear and concise summary of his findings and we appreciated the additional diagrams, explanations, and suggestions to rectify the problems identified. We would use Highland Home Inspections again in the future.

Sean did an excellent job of my home inspection! He went above and beyond any other inspector I’ve used previously. He was thorough and even took extra pictures that I requested because I was not able to view the home due to Covid and living out of province. He called me after the inspection to discuss the home deficiency. I highly recommend him!
