I lived at Hillcrest Terrace for eleven years, and overall, it was a positive experience. The floor I lived on was quiet, I had great neighbours and my apartment was secure. In addition, the building was well managed, maintenance requests were dealt with in a timely fashion, and I enjoyed the community garden. All in all, a great place to live!

This is a very well managed and maintained building. Very quiet and conveniently located. Manager is super efficient and kind. She is supported by very friendly staff who make it a pleasure to live here. Tenants care about each other and always have a nice word or two to share. Would not hesitate to recommend making this your new home. I have lived here for two and a half years but now have to move on for personal reasons... I appreciate so much how Realstar operate that I am moving to another of their buildings in another city.

Hillcrest Terrace is a great place to live. It is well maintained and very secure. Neighbours are very quiet and respectful and the staff is dedicated to providing a clean and safe environment. The gym and gardens are a great bonus!

I love living at Hillcrest Terrace. It is a very well maintained building with lovely amenities. The residents are very community oriented and everyone looks out for each other. Alison, the Building Manager, is very approachable and helpful with anything you might need. Maintenance requests are responded upon very quickly. Social events in the party room and outdoor rooftop terrace are welcoming and fun. The location can't be beat being so close to all things downtown. I hope to live here for many years to come!

I have lived at Hillcrest Terrace for almost 3 years and as a life long renter who has lived in various places in Canada, this is the best building I have ever lived in. It is very well maintained, and is kept immaculate. Allison and team can be seen cleaning every surface daily. The tenants are friendly and it is a quiet building. The location is great and easy walking distance to downtown and Fairview Mall as well as being on the main bus route. I am very happy living here.

We loved living at Hillcrest. We would still be there if it weren’t for a family emergency that we had to leave. Very convenient location, close to everything you could need. Easy access to QEW and 406. Our apartment was great and we really liked all of our neighbours. We have lived in quite a few apartments but Hillcrest was the best!

Any problem or question was always dealt with easily and the building is clean and well maintained, and communication is clear, concise and done in a timely manner. I really enjoyed my time at Hillcrest and sad to be leaving. I really loved my unit and the balcony was a nice place to relax. The location is close to downtown and an easy walk to a lot of things. Most of all the management team are all great.

Good location, close to downtown. Relatively quiet, but occasionally you do notice that there are some individuals late at night (particularly on weekends) who are on their way to/back from the Beer Store for a last minute run. Particularly notable if you live on a lower floor. Would say that it's a safe neighborhood as a male individual living alone.

Make-up of the apartment is diverse - long-term tenets who have been living there forever, students, young professionals just starting out, and quite a few elderly people. The occasional family.

In regards to the apartment, you get what you pay for. Nothing incredibly outstanding, but it is good value for the money. They are slowly investing into the building, and have upgraded both elevators as well as the gym in the three years that I lived there.

Management is very by the book. If you request that things get fixed/done, they are very by the book about it, and would not dilly-dally. Communication was always very succinct and regular. Never any surprises/fees hiding around the corner, as they are very clear with their expectations. But the same goes for rules that tenets follow, very by the book. Management is usually reasonable as long as you work with them, I found. There's give and take.
