I stayed at this location on May 18th. Check-in was pleasant, and the bell hopper was helpful. I don't believe there are self-service luggage carts, but I could be wrong. I was in town for a pageant, and there was a prom at this hotel for the weekend. I'm grateful we could stay on the top floor with a nice view. The lobby is beautiful, but the rooms need some upgrades. The bathroom had a sliding door and outdated carpet, and the wallpaper looked old. I ran into an issue that was my fault, but the loops I had to go through to fix it were out of this world. Overall, nice hotel.

As far as atmosphere goes, the lobby has a luxurious feel. The seating and decor is modern and clean. The indoor glass elevator is a nice touch.

Once we got into our room it was a big disappointment. The microwave is a floor down and across the other side of the building. I never stayed in a Hilton that didn’t have a microwave next to the fridge.

The next disappointment was the carpet. Most decent hotels are using flooring instead of carpets. It felt old and dirty.

The day we got here, housekeeping was still cleaning out rooms after 5pm. They were also cleaning the hallway carpet with a steamer and checking around with a flashlight. It gave me the feeling they were dealing with an infestation. They should have communicated with guests in close rooms (like ours) about what was going on. I was close to checking out for fear of bedbugs, but my room seemed okay and I needed to be there for business.

It was hot all night. The controls on the AC didn’t change a thing and reverted each time I made a change. It was extremely uncomfortable.

The shower was the best thing. It was a walk in with the dial in a convenient place. One of the better Hilton bathrooms I’ve been in.

The next morning there was no coffee in the lobby. Just an empty pot. Very disappointing. And I didn’t want to travel all over the building to heat up the one I brought in last night.

Overall, the staff is excellent and helpful. The restaurant was great and the bar is lovely.

We attend the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner to attend a travel industry meeting at a nearby hotel. This is a very nicely-appointed hotel with what we think is a very attractive front lobby area. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable.

We ate at the lobby restaurant twice during our stay and the meals were very good. We noticed some rather innovative efforts by the chef, such as putting grapes in the feta cheese dip. That was a very good and unexpected addition. We also tried the bisque, salmon, and pasta. All were very tasty and well-presented.

The hotel is also in a very walkable area. There are sidewalks and it's a rather easy 15-minute walk to the Tyson's Corner area.

Overall, we like the style and service at this Hilton. Keep up the good work!

Stayed here over Labor Day Weekend. Let’s start with the bad. The bathroom sink had mold on the faucet. I asked roomkeeping to deal with that in particular, they still missed it. One of the towels looked like it’d been used to wipe up urine. The soundproofing was really bad, we could easily hear the people in the hallway. Breakfast turned out to not be free.

As for the good, the location isn’t bad if you have a car, and they had plenty of parking. The elevators were really cool and I liked the lobby. The front desk was friendly and efficient. There was a wedding going on, it was cool to see the outfits they were wearing.

Overall though, this is not at all what I’d expect from a hotel whose brand is associated with luxury, frankly not worth the price.
