Arrived for an unscheduled visit and from the moment I walked in was assisted by kind and caring staff! Very quick check-in process! I was called in with just a short wait and Dr took time to hear my concerns and was so helpful! Facility is very clean and welcoming environment! Highly recommend!

PLEASE READ! If you are getting X-RAY here. -- Their machine is belongs to Hospital 20 miles away, insurance will treat it as outpatient and won't covered depending on your plan. Call insurance make sure it's covered.
My son recently had an X-ray at Irvine Woodbury Urgent Care, but we were surprised to receive a bill categorizing it as an outpatient visit to Newport Beach Hoag Memorial Hospital, a facility we've never visited. Consequently, our insurance charged us $470 for the procedure. When we questioned this, the billing department insisted that since the X-ray machine is managed by the hospital, the billing is accurate.

This situation is troubling because it appears to contradict the Surprise Billing Act. Even more concerning is the fact that this practice occurs within the network, seemingly exploiting loopholes in legal regulations.

It's frustrating to realize that patients must now verify the ownership of equipment used in their procedures to ensure insurance coverage.

I highly recommend this urgent care. A staff, a nurse, and a physician were very attentive and knowledeable. They treated me with respect and care in mind. The place was clean and peaceful atmosphere, none like other urgent care I have been before.
