When I decided to move back home I literally spoke to about a half dozen agents. I had a list of criteria that I was looking for in an agent, and I felt it was important that they be met. My biggest consideration was value. There's a lot of things I can live with, or without if the value is there. I also wasn't in a rush as my home was listed for every possible cent it was worth. Because I had time on my side I felt it was important that I disclose that. In the end, this is all about trust, and I trust Kathy 100% I eventually learned that when she warned me that I wouldn't like a house, she was right every single time. There was two houses that I liked which we made offers on, and instead of getting wrapped up in the moment, she calmed me down on my valuation. She was right as neither house sold. That kind of advice is invaluable as far as I'm concerned. In the end, we bought a place with great potential to use as a future rental, or renovate a little and sell. I can't imagine using anyone else in the future.
