*The Dynamic Duo of Hosting in Halifax*
Our Host Often experience was stellar in all areas. Here's some highlights to help future clients choose the right location/host.

1. Location:
The downtown location is so prime, close to gym, all restaurants, waterfront, grocery stores, YMCA, downtown mall, and parks, also a huge attraction being citadel hill.(if you are lucky enough you will be in a apartment in the building with a phenomenal view of the Citadel Hill). Also a *very safe location with code entry at front door and your own unit.

2. Cleanliness, Furnishings & Appliances *(TOP NOTCH)*
The units are designed flawlessly and thoughtfully, nothing feels "cheap" or overused in terms of furnishing, the unit was CLEAN and fresh, the appliances were top notch and all worked wonderfully. Huge Value for the cost vs. the services/unit.

3.Building Landlord/Repairs:
Wonderful all around, a few things needed repair with a quick note to the Host Often team- Jess & Sid there was a plan of action immediately and with what works best for you as the client. Microwave - took 1 month due to part being shipped in, new dishwasher install took under 2 weeks. The only thing that wasn't repaired before we left after 8 months of staying in our unit was the blinds "chain" to pull up and down- the manufacturer and order just never came in and due to covid/backordering. however overall- TRULY quick response, a genuine care for our stay and unit, and that goes far when you stay long term.

4.Friendliness of Host:
*TRUE TO EAST COAST*
Jess, Sid and their team were truly so friendly, approachable, professional in every way, responsive(which is SO KEY)!! always available, always solution based( IE. as long term tenants I complained about the bed squeaking and I am a very light sleeper and they switched our bed out for an alternative- now I know thats above and beyond the normal but this shows how they will do anything to ensure you are comfortable in their stay).

Thank you Jess & Sid for the most positive experience We've personally ever had renting. I would highly recommend renting short & long term.

Fantastic little condo, spacious, with great views. And fairly close to the waterfront. Sobey’s across the street is a plus if you get tired of restaurants.
Sid was a joy to deal with and all instructions were very clear. I’m lining this one up for my next stay in Halifax for sure!!

This was such a comfortable and enjoying stay in Halifax. The place has everything you could possibly need and the host is great at communicating. The place I stayed is a little more on the expensive side, but the price is so worth it. A secure place, with all amenities and extremely close to shopping and enjoyment. I would recommend this place over and over.

The property hosted by Sid was a Lake front villa on East Clifford NS. It is beautifully decorated, private, comfortable, clean with everything you need in there to feel like your own home. We truely enjoyed our stay and would stay longer if we could. Definitely will recommend it to others.

Absolutely horrible experience with Sid and this organization.

Two colleagues and I recently rented an AirBNB from Sid in Pictou for two nights. My colleagues were arriving a night before me and were only able to check-in late (around 10:30pm).

The code to open the home would not work. After trying a dozen times to open the locking mechanism, and because I was out of town and asleep, they were forced to find alternative (much more expensive) accommodations for the weekend.

I tried the lock again the following morning when I arrived to the site and the same problem persisted. At this point we had already made other arrangements where my colleagues needed a place to sleep the previous night.

Sid has refused to refund any portion of the rental despite his front door locking mechanism not working upon check-in.

AirBNB is now investigating this incident.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a nice neighbourhood with lots of cosy bars, restaurants and lunchspots nearby. The fact that you can walk to the centre of Halifax is also a big bonus point. The studio is cosy, clean and it was very quiet ar night. We had a great stay and would recommend!

Perfect spot! This was our second stay in Halifax in this apartment. It was great in February and in September! We love the views from this corner apartment! It is clean, convenient and well appointed for our needs.

Worst experience we've ever had at an Airbnb. The fixtures and appliances seemed like they were installed by a group of teenagers. The place was not clean. It was cold and cold air seemed to radiate from all directions. The driveway was terrible. Definitely avoid staying with this company.
