Ian helped my wife and I to buy a house in Nanaimo recently. We were very happy with his knowledge of the area (including points north and south of Nanaimo), his ability to quickly find and communicate information on listings to us, and his willingness to accommodate our crazy schedule and availability (we had to travel from Vancouver in the midst of a hot market, so responsiveness to new listings was critical). He provided excellent advice on the quality of each home we viewed and the neighbourhood in which it was located, any significant maintenance items, and the potential for us to sell the house at some future time. Ian did a fantastic job in helping us to find our new home in Nanaimo. We had a large area of interest, from Parksville to Chemainus and points in between, and had limited availability, but Ian worked hard to accommodate our schedule, often chauffeuring us up and down Island. Ian was the best realtor I have had. Very dependable and quick to get back to you with emails, texts and phone calls. Something that is very important to me because I hate waiting for days to hear what is happening. He is always on time for showings and looks for things in a home that need attention or replacing and points them out to you. Never crossing his mind that he may lose a sale by doing this, like some realtors do. He is most honest. I have only good to say about Ian and would definitely use him again.

Ian recently helped my mother to downsize to a smaller home without stairs, and a little yard so she could continue her passion ,gardening. I highly recommend Ian as a realtor for either selling or purchasing a home. He is very through with his job; crosses his T’s and dots the I’s! Very professional!!
