We asked Dorothy to help us get to the starting line of the next part of our journey. She did that and more, by not only selling our current home, but helping us buy our new home as well. Dorothy has a process. If you place your trust in that process, great things will happen.

When we sold: Dorothy had a deep understanding of the small investments that would add the most value to our home. Her network of contacts (materials, contractors, etc.) was substantial, and we had amazing experiences with each and every one of them. Her staging techniques were subtle yet powerful - potential buyers were free of visual distractions, and able to see the full potential of our home. Her strategy around where to price us was data driven, updated in near real time. It was dizzying to watch her juggle the phone and computer while working towards us finally signing on the dotted line.

When we bought: buying out of town meant that every minute had to matter. Dorothy's housing knowledge (areas, local infrastructure, home age, etc.), combined with her understanding of our wants and needs, meant that we were able to filter out a tonne of noise prior to "showing days". Each day on the ground in the new city, we saw a smaller group of very targeted houses, and it made the process so much less stressful and tiring. Dorothy's ability to form collaborative working relationships with local agents also helped take some of the stress out of a chaotic buyers market. We are still a little speechless at how quickly we managed to buy our new home.
